Once built as a private mansion in 1869 and later in the hands of bankers, this magnificent 19th-century classical building has been renovated and converted into the Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage. The hotel is just 165 ft from the market square and has free Wi-Fi. The Heritage Hotel offers its guests elegant, stylish rooms, all characterized by individual decoration, and nice soft furnishings with well furnished bathrooms. An iPad is available in each room. The house has a 14th-century old cellar with special arches, of which stones are now displayed at the museum of the archaeological society. Guests can enjoy regional dishes in the hotel's restaurant. Cozy restaurants, interesting museums, elegant shops and romantic carriages that take you through the city are only at walking distance. Boat rides on Brugge's famous canals show you the hidden corners of the city. The Relais & Châteaux Hotel Heritage has a pleasant and welcoming lounge with bar. A splendid buffet breakfast is served in the charming 1869 room, which reflects the glorious past of the house.

Hotel was fine, we were on the 4th floor and the rooms never got cool so it was hard to sleep until early morning.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was extremely comfortable and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very kind, attentive, and always helpful throughout our stay. Nothing significant. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

We loved the interior design the most. It was luxurious and welcoming. The bar was beautiful and we wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the facilities more. We will definitely return here. It was all perfect.

Location was perfect for touring Brugge. Small boutique hotel with pretty restaurant and nice intimate bar area. Staff felt overwhelmed on a couple of occasions (possibly understaffed) but they made up for it in service once you got their attention. Pillows could be more comfortable.

The staff at this hotel was EXCELLENT! The room was beyond comfortable. I am not a late sleeper, but the bed was so comfortable I slept till 10 a.m.! You can not bet the location it is located one block from the main square. This hotel would be perfect if you were attending Brugges Christmas. Definitely will stay here again. At this point there isn't anything I disliked about this hotel.

This hotel is hands down the best! The staff goes above and beyond in every task. We were blessed to stay here for our 35th anniversary. We wish we could have stayed longer. It is a couple blocks from the Market Square and there is a bike rental next door, so you may do some sightseeing. The room is gorgeous and the dining area was so elegant. They offer a turn down service, which I absolutely would encourage, as they put Belgium chocolates on your pillow. Absolutely love the Relais & Chateaux Hotel Heritage in every aspect. Nothing. They do everything fabulous!

This was an awful old hotel. Room, reception, especially bathroom. Any 3 star hotel would be better. We left after check in. Lost our money but still enjoyed not staying there.
