Perfect Location Room wide and comfortable bed

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The location was fantastic. Very close to the main square but on a quiet street. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable. The room has A/C so even though there was a heat wave, we were comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place and stay here again. There is no restaurant or bar that was open inside the hotel. So no breakfast. But there are plenty of places within walking distance. So its not a big deal. Super cool cellar bar with great Belgium bier right across the the street.

AC was very cold. Could be turned off and the windows opened for more comfort.

Everything about the hotel was great. Its located very central and only a 3min walk to the main square. The staff are very helpful and freindly. Everything is very clean and done to a high standard. The room is a good size, clean and confortable with a fridge, safe, kettle with coffee. Very powerful AC which was perfect for the heatwave. We had to turn it OFF at points as it was too cold. The breakfast was was well stocked and good value and quality. The hotel also have a secure private indoor carpark across the road for a charge. The next time we are visiting Bruges, we will 100% come here again. We have no complaints. For the money, location and facilities you cannot ask for more. Any negatives given would not be reasonable considering the points mentioned. You just need to be aware that the hotel is not staffed 24/7. They will contact you when making the booking to make an accomadation.

Excellent location—less than a 5-minute walk to Market Square and the Belfry, making it easy to explore everything on foot. One of the biggest perks was the private parking space in the secure garage right next to the hotel. Be sure to reserve this option when you book, as there are only a limited number of spaces available. It was incredibly convenient and made traveling by car hassle-free. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We stayed in the family suite, which is located in a separate building behind the main hotel and has its own private entrance. It offered a nice amount of space and privacy, making it a great option for families. The staircase to the upper level is quite narrow and steep, so children need to be careful when going up and down. If you're traveling with younger children (around 5 years old or younger), I'd recommend making sure they don't use the stairs without adult supervision.

Very close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning was great, which isn’t always true in Europe. Room was decent size and clean.

Great location, very walkable to the downtown area and Grand Place. Lovely, comfortable, and spacious family room for 2 adults and 3. Fantastic breakfast.

the room is really tiny and you can only open one suitcase~ well, that's when you want to live in the center of the old town!

Checked in very late and check out in the morning. Don’t have much experience but the room we stayed was too small.

Excellent location - very close to the city centre yet away from the crowds. Great cafes and bars are in immediate vicinity. Great layout of a room for 3 persons, almost as like there would be two separate rooms. Great communication with the staff. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. Only minor issue was not perfect bathroom sink drain, but the staff accepted the report and promised to address that. Overall, we were very happy with the stay, can only recommend the hotel, and we'll definitely pick it again once we're back to Bruges.

Clean, great location, awesome breakfast, lovely staff! Would have liked to figure out the AC in the room but couldn’t! So was a little stuffy.

    Beautiful rebuild. Staff exceptional.

The room wasn't particularly small, and the bed was quite comfortable. The location isn't bad either, though the rooms facing the street can get a bit noisy at night due to drunk people walking by. The one disappointment was the refrigerator; it didn't get cold at all, so I couldn't chill any of the drinks I had bought. When I mentioned this to the staff, they simply remarked that it was an old fridge—implying they were aware of the issue but hadn't bothered to fix it. That explains it: I realized later that there were vending machines on the first floor selling drinks, including beer.

Housekeeping in the early morning before check out was making a lot of noise and one housekeeper came in our room by mistake in the middle of our sleep. The beds were a bit too soft to our liking.

    * Good location (easy walk to anywhere in central Buges) * Good breakfast * Comfortable room * Excellent car parking right by the hotel. * We were "at the front" on the second floor - there was quite a bit of noise each night at a bar on the road outside. * Perhaps ask for a room which is not on the street though the view to the street was good. We were perhaps just unlucky on a couple of nights???
