after a very long and stressful day, with my husband in hospital, I arrived at the hotel, tired and upset at 10.30 pm. The staff were very caring, and upon learning about the hard time I had had, immediately offered a small glass of wine on the house. The only minor issue was that the conditioner bottle was blocked, so after washing my hair in the shower, couldn't condition it, so it all ended up a bit frizzy and wild!

Staff were extremely helpful and kind, giving me an extra room key so I could leave the aircon on and let the room cool down during the heatwave. The room was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a short stay. Hotel breakfasts are never great quality unfortunately, but the selection was good.

Friendly staff, good location, nice sized room, great facilities and good value for money Only slight gripe is that maybe some staff need a little more training? On arrival when we asked about the vegan options for breakfast the receptionist didn’t know and just said it was included. This made us believe that breakfast would just be something like prepackaged pastries. We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed to find a full buffet with lots of vegan options. Not really a complaint, the staff member may have been new to the role.
