Close to city center (walking distance) offered parking. Room was spacious, had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable! Responsive host. We appreciated the water and coffee. Listing should note the city tax fee

We loved it!! The room was big and stylish, the bed was extremely comfortable, everything was extra clean. Bathroom perfect and nicely decorated. There is everything you need in the room. The location is perfect, so close to both the train station and city centre. The host greeted us nicely, we could even check in a little bit earlier, which helped us a lot! We could hear other people in the hallway outside of our room sometimes too loudly, waking us up when they arrived from the night out at 4-5 am.

Clean and comfortable Location

Close to both the train station and city center. The room.was small. We had a private bathroom across from our room and we were the only ones who had a key. No problem with that, it's just that we didn't expect that and there was no mention of a separate bathroom. I would have definitely not booked it had I known. As a woman it is kind of impractical to be fully clothed every time you have to use the bathroom even during the night in case you run into someone on your way there. There are a lot of homeless people on the main street near the apartment, so I guess not the safest location for solo travellers. But I guess it's a problem all over Bologna. We also witnessed one of them dying on our last day there with a lot of police, coroners and grieving family present. A very sad thing to witness. All in all not worth the money.

I stayed in a different apartment in Bologna one week later (different owner, similar accommocation, slightly closer to the city's main square) - City Central Rooms was almost double the price, wasn't as nice, and was in an area that flet less safe late at night.

Small, clean and quiet room (no street or train noise). We stayed for a couple of nights only. The room has everything you need for a few nights' stay. This is not a hotel - but someone turned 1 apartment into 2 rooms with a shared kitchen area / entrance so it can be noisy as you can hear your neighbors. The area around the hotel is ok.. (close to a train and bus station) but I would probably not recommend this location to single travelers. On the other hand it's ~10 mins walk to the centre of Bologna.

It’s very clean and silent flat. 20 min away from main square (Piazza Maggiore), but very close to train station.
