Savoia Hotel Regency

Our room was amazing! We had a huge outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the grounds. Reasonably priced. The restaurant and Bar were great and the customer service was fantastic! Did I mention the beautiful pool!! We will definitely stay there again! The automatic cappuccino maker in the breakfast room. I ordered mine fresh from the bar after drinking one from the machine. It was nearly all milk.

Convenient location. Beautiful room. Swimming pool. Like an overnight stop at a resort. Restaurant was lovely and staff very kind but quality of our dinner was disappointing.

I stayed at Savoia Hotel Regency in Bologna for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of food, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and supportive throughout my stay. The swimming pool was a real highlight, especially on a hot summer day. The outdoor pool features a unique jacuzzi with air massage, which was a great way to relax, and there were plenty of sunbeds available. The hotel also offers very good parking, which made my stay even more convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the city center. As Bologna has a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), we had to spend extra time planning where to park before entering the city to avoid the risk of receiving a traffic fine.

Liked the proximity to the airport. Sad, I didn't get breakfast because of the early flight. My room while clean and well stocked with options for purchase, was warm. IT was also convenient having the restaurant onsite.

The room is very comfortable and the food is excellent. No drinks or food served in the pool area, staff not very friendly, far from the city center, taxi not available in the evening, old-fashioned.

The hotel looks great, the swimming pool was open. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Quality of food at the restaurant could be better.

Literally everything, except the condition of the tile around bathtub/shower. The grounds are beautiful, breakfast area wonderful, the dinner at the restaurant was very good too. Black deposits (mold?) between the tiles around the bathtub. It is just unfortunate that just one thing ruined our stay.

Excellent!

Easy to find, quiet location across from a large arboretum. Beautiful, sparkling clean room with private balcony, comfortable king size bed and a nice size bathroom with a bathtub! Able to sleep with the tall balcony doors open due to the private balcony directly across from the front fountain. Ristorante Garganelli was good food for reasonable prices and even brought my husband a candle in his desert the night of his birthday. Service was exceptional from everyone who served us. We arrived much earlier than check-in time, but they allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was very good and quite comprehensive with both savory and sweet options and fresh squeezed orange juice. They have ample handicap parking close to the front door, and bell carts for luggage. They also accommodated our need to freeze ice packs for our cooler bag for my husband’s insulin. They could have better pillows.

It was beautiful, well-maintained, and away from the crowds of bologna, but not too far away that you couldn’t take an easy bus ride. The restaurant staff was phenomenal and the food was outstanding.
