Living Place Hotel

Breakfast is good with cakes but no warm food… eggs were cold every days and beacon is like raw :( Pool has only paid lounger and no place for blanket.. we wanted to be there only few minutes and it was problematic. Checkout on website is 12 pm, and also on room information by card, however it is 11.

It is a great place to stay for a night or two while on the go. We just returned for this year after our wonderful stay last year. We pass by Italy after an overnight ferry trip and this is our place to spend the night in Italy. The hotel has some renovated rooms and also the pool area is newly remodeled. We highly recommend it! Our only suggestion is about the breakfast buffet. There could be some more variety. But I am very happy that they also serve gluten free products. Nothing.

Basically there is nothing to like:( This is far away from 4 star hotel. Smell... corridors dirty. Room poor. Everything is stuck in 1984... don't believe what you see in photos!!! Pictures in booking doesn't match reality!

It’s a wonderful place to visit with the whole family. We love it so much that we come back every summer.

Beautiful pool area, and great restaurant The breakfast chaos as a bit much with the busyness of the hotel. My recommendation is to have times when people come so it’s less hectic

Breakfast was excellent, swimming pool (not included) is gorgeous Unhelpful/untrained staff, far from everything (e.g., center, airport, etc), swimming pool is not included (31E/day), long wait at the restaurant and disappointing food (skip the pizza!), A/C did not really work anywhere in the property, cheap all-in-one soap in shower

The waiting time at the restaurant was very long. It was clear that the restaurant was understaffed, with only two or three employees trying to serve a large number of guests. The staff worked hard and did their best under considerable pressure, often rushing from one table to another. At times, it felt uncomfortable to ask for anything because they were already overwhelmed and doing everything they could to keep up with demand. This is not a criticism of the staff, but rather of the staffing levels. Hotel management should consider assigning more employees to the restaurant during peak meal hours to improve service and reduce waiting times for guests.

It was close to my event. Staff were very friendly and professional. Beds were comfortable. More choices for food would be nice.

Nothing, was great

The lobby and bar are very nice. Multiple versions about why the air conditioning wasn't on or working. The workers on the pool renovation woke us up at 7:30 am by jack hammering the concrete surrounding the pool. We had a Suite and my college dorm room was better appointed.

They offer lots of bread, pastries, and cakes for breakfast but really lacked in vegetable and healthy options. Several of the fruit options looked like they were canned or jarred since they were swimming in bowls of fruit syrup.

Convenient commercial hotel. Decent rooms. Good breakfast. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. One elevator out of service; staff using the other guest elevator at peak hours.

Location Very noisy and hard to get any sleep. Found a stink bug in the room which I know is pretty common but wasn’t happy.

excellent place. Bologna is easy to reach. The rooms are modern and clean. Good breakfast Nothing really. For what I needed, the hotel was perfect. However, if you are a tourist you will find the hotel quite distant from Bologna city center

No coffee maker and tea kettle

Staff were extremely helpful and attentive from reception to the team at breakfast. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was hot and cold food and although the coffee machines were not working, staff were very helpful in getting you one from the bar if required. Prices at the bar were very reasonable. Lots of parking (we had hired a car). Not a reflection on the hotel as such as we knew that the outdoor pool was closed, however it is a bit out of the way (although there is a mall round the corner). It seemed to be geared more towards a business traveller. There is a bus at the back of the hotel (NOs 89) which will take you into the centre of Bologna (one card per person, ie you cannot pay for your entire family on one card) and it takes about 40-50 mins.
