Room and Location was perfect Breakfast options

The location is good. They put us on floor 7. The room was very hot, and even though they included a fan, opening the window with the fan by the window did nothing. Also this hotel advertises a gym, but they have no gym. They let you go to a different hotel instead and use the gym there, but it's not close or convenient and that hotel gym isn't even a good gym. It's very basic. Also do not go to this hotel if you need accessibility. The elevator is not wheelchair accessible, and to get to rooms on floor 7 it's more like floor 6.5 ... you walk ip stairs to get to the elevator. Then select 7 on the elevator and then have to walk down stairs. Breakfast was OK. They messed up my eggs and cheese order by adding ham. Any items like waffles or arepas that you probably want warm are going to be cold unless you get there at exactly 7AM. They do nothing to keep hot items hot, but they will make fresh eggs. They also have an annoying vacuum push-pump coffee dispenser that is super slow, and if you try to push it to go faster they will tell you not to do that because they are afraid it will break. Oh another thing, they charged an extra unquoted 20,000 pesos per day for "seguro". I am disputing the charge because i never asked for this, and they could not explain what it was for.

Great location. Walking distance to everything. We actually did a 7 bar pub-crawl on foot. Very clean. Minibar was nice. To-order breakfast included. Snacks available throughout the day. Dining area is set up for games at night with a small conference room available to reserve. Full grocery/liquor store/deli/bakery across the street. Large bed, nice shower. Very spacious for a single room We asked for an early check in and they seemed to have dropped the ball.

The location was exceptional and the rooms were very spacious. But to me the best part was the shower. The fact that there is no a/c and you are obligated to open windows surrenders to outside noise and smells. In my case the smell of breakfast being cooked and the sound of motorcycles and cars passing by was disturbing.

I am still very upset that housekeeping threw away important documents that I left ON THE DESK, including many business cards from a diplomatic reception that I especially flew to Bogota for to develop contacts. All LOST. Not just stupid but against any hotel protocol around the world. It is for this reason I can never recommend 84DC and I will not return to that place. I received no apology, housekeeping even denied their action, which makes me a liar, and that is shocking! I am still very upset that housekeeping threw away important documents that I left ON THE DESK, including many business cards from a diplomatic reception that I especially flew to Bogota for to develop contacts. All LOST. Not just stupid but against any hotel protocol around the world. It is for this reason I can never recommend 84DC and I will not return to that place. This hotel is in a nice location surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend it. Nothing

Nice and new Stairs

Very wonderful hotel. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical but it was as good as everyone was saying! There’s onsite parking. Breakfast prepared by a wonderful chef and the spread and choices were a great way to start your day. The room was very quiet and the bathroom spacious and very clean as well. The queen bed very comfortable and there are actually very plump and comfortable pillows! Nada

Breakfast was big and delicious. I learned to say "huevos revueltos" (scrambled eggs) en espanol. There were all kinds of fruits, homemade arepas, and good coffee. Location was perfect for my visit to the local office. My room was fine. I only wonder if they need to add a notice about whether it's okay to flush toilet paper -- the plumbing seemed a little delicate. But otherwise, 84DC is excellent.
