Aneto Hotel

Staff were very friendly, arrived quite late however reception was 24 hours so was easy to check in. Room was a decent enough size but not massive as expected, room was exceptionally clean and smelt amazing. All facilities worked didn’t have a single issue, room was equipped with air con and a fridge, in terms of location it was perfect within walking distance of most things would stay again. Nothing

The location was great. Close to everything. Also, they cleaned almost daily. The staff was not very friendly. I arrived late, clearly exhausted, with a heavy bag, and the reception guy did not even stand up to hold the heavy iron door for me. The air conditioning and some plugs were not working very well and the fridge did not cool things up.

Central location. Admittedly it was August but the room was very hot without aircon and I wouldn’t usually choose to keep it on at night. Only one hand towel provided, no bath towel - I did ask a member of the cleaning team for a larger one for the shower but was just given a replacement hand towel.

Front desk staff were always helpful and friendly. Location wonderful. Power outlets worked fine for all types of cords giving a reliable changing source and internet. Could offer a more convenient and cheaper breakfast option. On a few days the room was not made up and towels not changed., although that didn't really bother me too much. (It may have been due to a naughty guest changing the door sign from Make Room Up to Do Not Disturb.) The single room, especially the bathroom is quite small and easy to bump a head or elbow on something. The very dark walls, dark blue, could be painted lighter. The price could have been lower given that it was a 1 star hotel. Given the excellent location though, 2 mins from La Rambla and the Boqueria Market, one could argue that the price was reasonable.

Great location on a busy street straight in the center, loved it. Comfy bed, clean, had air-conditioning . Friendly staff . Kettle tea and coffee . Bath instead of shower. Very small room, expensive for what it was
