Great location, clean hotel and nice breakfast options. Had everything we needed for a 3 day visit

Great location, clean room. Toilet was coming away from the wall (so each time you sat down, it moved). No plug in the bath tub. Had to ask at reception for one (and the one they gave was too big). Breakfast was OK. Should really be included within the expensive hotel price. Lift broke on the last day (and we had 3 large and very heavy suitcases to get down from the 4th floor with 2 young children). When we asked what the best thing to do would be (and also asking for some help), the staff member just shrugged his shoulders. No offer of support or an apology. Multiple potential data breaches before I arrived (including one by WhatsApp). When I raised these concerns, it was blamed on an external provider instead of apologising / taking accountability.

The 1st room was for 4 people. We notice that the A/C was not functioning as expected. The room was not cool at all. The hotel change us to another room were the A/C was good but the room was for 3 people

Close to town and docks where I was meeting my daughter from a cruise ship Could have done with coffee making facilities in room as coffee machine in foyet was not working

For a two star hotel it exceeded our expectations. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, location excellent and the buffet breakfast very generous. We would stay there again.

Location was ok. The location was convenient for reaching train stations and amenities, but the surrounding streets felt unsafe (we even witnessed a pickpocket) and frequently smelled of urine and feces. Additionally, the room was far too small for three people and lacked basic essentials like a fridge or microwave.

Staff were absolutely amazing. The kindest and most welcoming reception staff I have ever had. Aircon was broken but was fixed as we were checking out. To compensate, they provided free breakfast each morning and a fan in the room. No complaints :)

Very comfortable room. Staff very helpful. We were contacted by scammers a few weeks before our holiday commenced. Our personal details had been accessed by the scammers and through Hotel Santa Marta. The scammers knew all our reservation details, which must not have been adequately protected. Whilst our stay was comfortable, we would not choose to stay here again, due to this incident, which caused us a lot of inconvenience as our bank cancelled our credit card, just before our holiday commenced.

The location is amazing, it's very central and close to restaurants, beaches, shops and museums. The staff are super helpful and nice, everyone we interacted with was great. The room was a reasonable size, the two of us were very comfortable there. Everything felt clean and pretty new. The AC wasn't great, it was a little too warm in the rooms even with it going full blast, and the corridors were very warm. The beds weren't very comfortable, especially the pillows. The breakfast was only okay, I'm not sure I'd pay for it again, I think I'd have had better food if I had gone to a local café.
