Hotel Inglés is located right next to the Ramblas and Boquería market, 5 minutes’ walk from Plaça Catalunya. It offers 24-hour reception and rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Air-conditioned rooms at the Inglés are simple and comfortable. They come with a private bathroom and some rooms have a private balcony. A breakfast is served every morning in a restaurant located next to the hotel. Staff at the hotel’s 24-hour reception can provide information about what to see and do in Barcelona. You can also hire a car and store your luggage at the front desk. The Palau de la Música Catalana, a Modernist auditorium, is 10 minutes’ walk from the Hotel Inglés. The characterful streets of the Gothic Quarter are on the doorstep, and you can walk to the trendy Born area in around 5 minutes.

Excellent location in La Rambla, with easy access to the metro, the city, beaches, and everything else nearby. The bed and the wall are a bit outdated, but there’s really nothing to complain about.

The hotel is just a few steps from Las Ramblas, but it's very quiet. A pleasant and helpful young man works at the reception. Next to the hotel, there is a breakfast café where you can enjoy a tasty breakfast. When booking the hotel through the system, we could choose the bed configuration – either a double bed or two twin beds. We chose two twin beds, but we were given a double bed. We were told that the air conditioning did not work in the room with two twin beds. The double bed was very narrow and uncomfortable. The air conditioner did not cool the room – it only blew air at room temperature. We stayed in August, so it was very hot outside. The room was also very hot and stuffy, making it impossible to sleep. We left the hotel feeling completely unrested, so we will not return. The air conditioners should be checked and repaired before the hot season. I do not recommend staying here in the summer.

There was a fridge, a TV and a safe in the room. Very tiny balcony overlooking side street but no seating. Breakfast bar next door. 1 minute walk to La Rambler, 20 minutes walk to sea front, 20 minutes walk to Cathedral, 10 minutes to shopping centers. No swimming pool, bar or rest / lounge room on site.
