Oakwood Residence Sukhumvit 24 Bangkok

Had a great stay for 2 weeks in a 1br. The staff are very friendly, efficient and helpful. The room are all equiped..washing machine could be a bit better but overall, beds are super comfortable as well as the living area. Great value for money and the location is great with the skytrain just 200m away, 7-11 next door and big malls 5min away by walk. Washing machine could be a bit better.. sometime in the evening the wifi will slow down for short times, and depending on which side of the building you're own.. you don't have any view but a building 3m from your balcony.

Location is amazing. Right across from Emporium and less than 5 mins from Prom Phong BTS. We specifically booked it to do laundry mid-trip. Washer was fine but they had no dryer in the rooms so it took a bit longer to wash all our clothes as we had to hang dry and wait.

Old hotel, needs renovation, very bad masterbedroom and bathroom.

Room was spacious, kitchen utensils fully prepared, fridge was clean and functional which was helpful to store iced drinks and some snacks. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Location was fantastic, just 5 minutes walk to BTS station and Emporium and Emquartier malls. Lots of shops along the road such as spas, 7/11 and small cafes. The area felt generally safe too especially at night. The room was generally clean, however, there were definitely insect droppings on the floor, which, despite having room service daily, they were not swept nor vacuumed, indicating the lack of thorough cleaning. There was a small, at least, 1 german roach in the toilet that wasn't cleaned too by the bin. I also killed one on the toilet. As they were tiny, i just didn't think much about it until one large one crawled next to my door (on the entrance) on my second night. The hotel quickly had a cleaner to kill it. TBH, I don't know if it's due to my room being on the ground floor or hygiene has to be re-looked - otherwise, stay is generally safe and comfortable. Can do better with the insect problem.

The facility was not the picture. The front building picture is not the same building. The gym was located in the basement, it is small/cramped and had no views (what basement does). The furniture in my room was dated. The tub was not functional. Lastly, the room had a gnat here and there but the flying ants everywhere had me very upsetting. You may wonder; why did I stay? The room charge was not refundable and I paid for the room in full; in advance. I would have left but did not want to lose my money.

Good location, small kitchenette available, comfortable beds though having two twins next to each other required a connector which was missing so sleeping in the middle was uncomfortable. The gym is above average with weights and some machines. Free parking is included . The common areas are not climate controlled. There was a snafu which caused some stress then later resolved.

Great staff, convenient location and great that my dog was able to stay. An easy option in a very convenient location. All is fine. The breakfast could benefit from a little more attention as items are set up early and not rotated or covered. But friendly and nice.

The staff are wonderful. Facilities good, rooms very good. The only hotel I stay at in Bangkok.

Very comfortable with family

It was fine. Safe. Comfortable. Close to the mall, restaurants, massage shops. There isn't much of a TV selection, dogs have to use the service elevator unless carried, restaurant is Indian only. Pictures are deceiving.

Great location and very good apartment. The front desk staff were fantastic. Communicated well and helped resolve minor issues immediately. Needs some updates with flooring peeling in bathroom, but other than that everything worked as expected.

The hotel itself is nice and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a little quiet lounge where you can get snacks and coffee any time of the day. The gym is ok. I think it's a bit old and needs some maintenance. But it has all the necessary equipment so I had no problem working out there. The rooms also have older furniture but are well maintained and everything works well. Panoramic windows were very nice and convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to use. The bathtub was great too. Beds are comfortable too. Blackout curtains were great, blocked all the light very well. Gym needs to be cleaned and maintained

Did not use the dining facility. The was excellent. Close to C BTS. Please purchase three or four umbrellas for your pool area. You have a second umbrella stand. Use it. Also, the wooden tables can use umbrellas.

It's a bit old but it's value for money so it's good They have small renovation, so they didn't have room services
