Abstract Hotel

Great location, beautiful aesthetic in corridors, communal areas, reception, restaurant, gorgeous art work, staff lovely and attentive, very friendly and helpful room felt tired and a bit grotty, bathroom not clean, smelled like dirty drains, felt a bit cross with the huge bond required on my card, when the room was not actually clean - make up on walls, dirty surfaces, smelly. The air conditioning system/fan was so loud i couldnt sleep

the room was dusty and the air ventilation was very loud.

I had a fantastic stay at Abstract Hotel and truly enjoyed my time in Auckland. My flight was delayed, and I was so grateful that the hotel kindly offered me a complimentary room upgrade. My upgraded room had a beautiful view of the Sky Tower, which made my stay even more special and memorable. The room was comfortable, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I really appreciated the thoughtful gesture and would happily stay at Abstract Hotel again on my next visit to Auckland. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was great! Felt like a proper cafe breakfast but at your doorstep and buffet!

Noise comes through rooms

Greta location. Nice room with good facilities and helpful staff The lighting in the room needs more attention. Either too bright or too dark. The bed was a strange size.

A great hotel near downtown and public transit. I had a suite with bedroom, bathroom and lounge with kitchen. All facilities were well maintained and well decorated with an avant garde style. Highly recommend! Parking was difficult if you have a car.

Friendly staff.

Perfect location, very central and no noise from outside (despite being right next to K Road). Staff were lovely, v professional and accommodated my unexpected early arrival. Surprisingly roomy, with utilities (stovetop, cooking utensils) that I don't normally see in a hotel (especially at this v reasonable price). Would recommend

The bigger rooms are very spacious, the washing machines were good and there is a business lounge. I wish there was room service. Also there are some homeless outside.

Location was great and so was the breakfast. The staff were very kind and helpful!

Colour scheme is cool, funky vibe. Rooms small but fit out well. TV didn't work, coffee machine didn’t work, no air con, shower was moldy.

The Abstract is a classy boutique hotel amongst a plethora of sterile, high rise, chain-hotel options. The common areas were elegant and inviting, and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every detail has been considered, right down to the kiwiana jet planes and jaffas at reception. Excellent options for late check out too!
