Dream Hotel Amsterdam

They may have applied too much perfume in the room for some reason. The perfume made the room smell very sticky. The window cover doesn't cover the whole window, which wouldn't block the light in the morning.

Particularly room 14 is spacious and has an excellent view. The central location is very conventient. The friendly and helpful staff is a great plus point for Dream Hotel. The shower messes a lot of water. The rooms are very clean and possibly there can be clearer communication on the times by which rooms will be cleaned should one need to return to the hotel during the day for whatever reason. In future we will also ask about this should we know we will make an early afternoon return.

The front desk staff was helpful - Very hard beds -Loud - smallest room I’ve ever stayed in - despite reserving a taxi to the airport at the front desk >24 hours in advance AND going back to the desk 12H before to make sure it was confirmed, the front desk did not in fact confirm the taxi for us, as we found out on the morning of the flight. So we ended up having to organize our own transport to the airport, which increased our stress on the last day of travel.

Staff were apologetic about the size of our room as it was the last available, but due to the length of our stay, they changed us to a larger room on the second night that was much more accommodating for our needs. We were initially placed in a very small room that would not have been suitable for the 3 nights we stayed, but on the second night, we were changed to a much bigger room.

Location was great. Very central. The picture of the room doesn’t match the room one bit. That room was the tiniest more cramped room. We couldn’t even walk around each other.

The room is small and was noisy from people outside yelling one night. Not really the fault of the hotel.

The room was too small, There was no elevator, and even though it was on the upper floor, it overlooked the lower floor due to the difference in elevation, It only had a small window.

We have enjoyed for go out to different tourist than a property. We are not satisfied with the room. The space is much smaller than expected, and it is difficult for two people to move around. We also cannot reach the window to open it. The bathroom has an automatic sensor light, but we do not like the bright light turning on during the night. We would prefer a manual switch to turn the light on and off. The tap was repaired for being loose, but it is still not working properly. The TV service is very poor. Most channels are not working, and the subtitles do not work at all. This is very disappointing.

I don’t know where to start!! The staff was so amazing and nice and helpful no matter when!! Everything was always clean and the location is close to everything!!! I’ll be back for sure

We checked out an hour late and got charged 25 euros.

The hotel was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The location was very central and so close to the city centre. The rooms were great and the staff were all helpful and friendly. I will book here again when I come back. There was nothing that didn't meet my expectations.

The location of this room was excellent. Giving good value to the stay. The staff was respectful, helpful, and charming.The room was efficient, we don't spend much time in a hotel room on holidays. Everything was in walking distance

The location This property was not a hotel, but a basic room entirely lacking in standard amenities. I am devastated by the quality of this stay, especially having paid over £600. The room was incredibly small, and there was no lift access. To make matters worse, there were no typical hotel facilities, just a front desk. Simple expectations were not met: there wasn't even enough milk for one person for two days—let alone two people—and the cups provided did not even fit under the coffee machine. I have never felt as deflated by a hotel stay as I did here, and I certainly would not stay again. Given the experience, the cost was completely unjustifiable.

Everything is walking distance, super clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room (26) was very clean and well maintained, which I really appreciated. However, the floor was noticeably uneven, so the bed was slightly slanted as well. It made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Overall, cleanliness was great, but the uneven floor did affect the comfort of the stay.
