Steep stairs and very cold floor

♡ Bed and mantras were great. ♡ Small, but warm and cozy room. Renovation has been very loud below. Extremely steep and narrow stairs, not for carrying the laggeds. We were expected a wee kettle in a room. Draen was half blocked, water hardly goes away.

Good value for the money

While the hotel was a good price for a couple of nights, we at least expected a clean room and working bathrooms. We had trouble with the toilets on our floor and had to go to other floors to utilize the bathroom. Our sheets had weird yellowish stains and towels had a foul mildew scent. Desk staff was also unhelpful when it came to trouble with our door code. It eventually started working but we were unable to use our code at the front door and had to wait for people coming in and out to enter

The hotel is clean and in an excellent location. The room was simple but exactly what I needed. A resonable place to sleep and shower.

There is no elevator in the building and it was challenging to move luggage up the steep staircase. Soundproofing is poor; noise from people walking in the corridors and opening/closing their doors can be heard in the room. There was no reception in the building. There was no phone available in the hotel to contact the hotel staff. Even though there was a contact number provided, some tourist may not have call roaming.

Great location My sheets were not very clean, also the rooms were not as expected. Could be my fault for not checking but definitely more of a hostel private room than hotel

Location Stairs are real steep and if you have luggage to haul it’s horrible. Bathroom was terrible. It’s like they put a toilet in a shower.

Because it is in the city proper, noise is everywhere.

the staff and local were good there were bed bugs in the room which i didn’t like

Easy check in and out via mobile phone Could only unlock the door via the phone the door code didn't work should use key cards aswell as I was locked out my room for a good hour or 2 after using the toilet and had to bang on the door to wake my friend up to open the door

It was 5 minutes from the central station,the staff was really nice and helpful and the room was great for the price The staircase is really narrow,the steps are small and (as listed) there is no elevator. It just kind of hard to get the luggage to your room

Great location easy check in and quite clean. Seemed good value for Amsterdam. Smell of cigarette smoke coming into our room from other guests each night.
