Good hotel. Near tram station

The parking was easy and reasonably priced; the room was very clean and had everything we needed including a fridge. The window opened a bit, which was nice. The bathroom was large and clean. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The location was fantastic, a little away from the noisy center, but well connected with a tram/streetcar. We would stay here again! Nothing comes to mind!

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unfair €400 Charge and Poor Service Dear Booking.com Customer Support, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my stay at XO Hotels Couture Amsterdam. Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Throughout our stay, the housekeeping service was consistently poor. Our rooms were not cleaned properly despite repeated requests, and the staff’s attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful. The most unacceptable part is that, at check-out, the hotel charged us €400 for two rooms, claiming that the rooms were not clean. This is completely unfair and contradictory. During our entire stay, we repeatedly complained that the hotel itself was not cleaning our rooms properly. It is unreasonable for the hotel to provide poor housekeeping service and then penalize guests for the condition of the rooms at check-out. We also requested the hotel management’s contact details to file a complaint, but the staff refused to provide them. We travelled to the Netherlands to participate in an international squash championship with our families, and this situation caused unnecessary stress and disappointment. I respectfully request that Booking.com investigate this matter, review the hotel’s actions, and assist us in resolving this issue, including reviewing the unjustified €400 charge. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response. Regards,

Well equipped Easy access to public transport

Hotel was on a tram line and very convenient to the art galleries in Amsterdam. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had trouble with the coffee maker. There were no coffee pods in the room, but were provided after we asked for help with the machine.

Spacious and nice room. Good value for money. The checkout at 11 am is very early.

The hotel feels modern and new. We enjoyed housekeeping every day as the room was pretty small, and we were 3 people. The location seems a little far from the center of Amsterdam, however we were pleasantly surprised that we could take the #2 tram right to the center in about 15 mins, and that route is full of great restaurants and neighborhoods, and a really lovely ride. There is a big grocery store just about a 5 minute walk away. We also rented their bikes which was fantastic and rode all over town. Staff made sure we knew how to use and lock them. The lobby is comfortable to place to hang out as well. The room was a bit small, but we made it work, and went all over town with a comfortable, bright place to return to. Housekeeping did a great job and everything was clean and tidy.

The air con was more of an AC VERY light especially considering the heat outside
-
Good value The gym need some improvement
-
Nice clean hotel close to airport and metro No laundry facilities
-
Nice and clean hotel Far away from the city center
-
When I entered the room it was stuffy, neither ac, nor opening the window helped

The hotel has a garage for 25€ per night. The air condition was broken on the entire 9th floor, it was very hot and humid in our room, our baby could not sleep, therefore we did not sleep, a change of rooms was not possible because the hotel was fully booked - definitely not worth 200€ for a night...
-
The staff were responsive to our needs The bed sheet was stained; te bed was not too comfortable; location was not ideal. Situated in a neighborhood with quite a few drunks & homeless people we encountered.
-
Convenient to use tram into the central part,of city. Security of the building
-
Room is not clean, hair on the pillow, bedding and pillow smelling, the temperature of running water is not easy to control.
-
Large bright room with desk, comfortable bed, next to a tram stop, quiet, has refrigerator and a great shower. The heater was not powerful and the staff mixed - some nice some brusque. 20 minutes from downtown.

I had a very pleasant stay at XO Hotels Couture Amsterdam. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a city hotel. The beds were also very comfortable, which made the stay even better. The self check-in kiosk was very successful, fast, and easy to use. It made the arrival process smooth and efficient. One small point for improvement would be the water in the room. I know Amsterdam tap water is drinkable, but it would still be nice to have at least one bottle of water provided in the room. I also really liked the coffee, snacks, nuts, and chocolate kiosks behind the reception area. It was a thoughtful and practical idea for guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, practical, and a good place to stay in Amsterdam.

I had a great stay at XO Hotels Couture. The hotel was neat, clean, and very comfortable throughout my visit. The room was well-maintained, quiet, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The employees at the front desk were especially helpful and welcoming. They were always polite, quick to assist, and provided excellent customer service from check-in to check-out. Their friendly attitude made the experience even better.

The property was pristine and the bed was very comfortable. Rooms were good size for Amsterdam hotel. The tram that will take you to the Central area or connect you to other public transportation options is literally right outside the front door. This makes up for the location not being central. However, there are 2 grocery stores and several cafes within 800 meters of the hotel. Everything was great.
