Clean, modern, helpful staff. Breakfast was great

Hotel location was great, however the front desk staff were extremely unhelpful and not accommodating. We had previously communicated with the hotel that we would have an extra person in one of the quadruple rooms for one night. When we checked in, the staff refused to allow our extra person to stay in the room, even though the room itself was very large. He was forced to book a room at a completely different hotel at the last minute for a single night because they also claimed booking another room at the same hotel would cost over 350 euros! They also couldn't figure out how to make a duplicate key for one of the rooms, forcing us to go back 3 times in order to have a correct one made. There are many other hotels in the area so would recommend choosing one with better customer service.

The hotel included a spa but the robes were not included in the room and you had to pay a 25 Euro deposit for one. I find it unusual compared to other 4 star hotels I have stayed in. The cleanliness could also be improved, the coffee maker was grimy.

Perfect location for us, since close to tram and metro, even walkable to the Museumsplains. Very comfortable room, great stuff, very good breakfast. N.a.

There was very little space in the room to put clothes. It might be fine if you were alone, but it's really difficult for two people, because the wardrobe is very small. The hotel needs to work on its room service. The room was not cleaned at all on the first day, and on the second day, only after a separate request was the trash taken out, the bed made, and the towels changed. The dust was not cleaned for a single day, and the floors were not washed. Shampoo and shower gel were replenished only on the third day. Small details found in other hotels, even in lower classes, were not found: a cosmetic or shoe-cleaning kit, or slippers. Small gym compared to other areas, corridors, or spa sauna area. Small weights were missing.

The hotel is new, located on the fourth floor of a tall building, with a view, near the RAI Center. The amenities are up to par with its rating. Breakfast was excellent, with a selection of sweet and savory options, and featuring typical products from various ethnic groups. The price of the room is quite high and it is a bit far from the centre of Amsterdam even if it is connected by a tram which has its terminus 100m from the hotel.
