Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam is located in the heart of the Vondelpark and offers a view on the green surroundings. The Van Gogh Museum is an 8-minute walk away. Location is perfect Need to make your own beds is ok for a cheap hostel. But for the price you can expect a bit more.

Breakfast was good although slight discount for kids would have been better. Liked having games around to play. Location was ideal. Breakfast slightly expensive for kids. Windows banged so if it had been hot might have been a problem.

Great location, very nice and helpful staff, very good breakfast all convenient for family stay The place is nice with big common areas and board games available for guests The room was not 100% clean… when we arrived there were many crumbs on the table… We were on the 1st floor and heard lot of noise from people down in the park (nth the hotel could control I understand but maybe ask for a room on a higher floor for quieter experience)

Clean, fairly comfortable. Nice central location & quiet street. No duvets, only a sheet for sleeping. Wifi was not working. A bit expensive for what you get.

Location was great, though the hostel was located down an alley, and I would not have liked to walk down there at night on my own. The wifi did not work in our room. I mentioned it to the front desk, but it was not fixed during my stay. My son saw a mouse in the kitchen area one night. Paid over $300/night for a room for four people, and still had to pay $10 to rent towels on top of that. At that price towels should be included

Entrance and common areas feel like a hotel, then you go to your room and its definitively a cheap hostel that is overpriced Floors in the rooms look very dirty, like dirt that needs deep cleaning, not just regular swiping.
