clean, modern, great Margaritas!! rooms were good size, nice modern bathrooms and all hotel was nicely presented, room service very prompt and food nice and hot Pancakes were hard and did not seem fresh, nor meet my expectations. They appeared store-bought and reheated rather than freshly made

Friendly staff. Everything as expected. Family friendly. Restaurants open during Easter holidays! Great location with beautiful parks within walking distance. A well maintained pool great for families.
-
Breakfast was good. Great selection. Location was close to parks and a short walk to the tram to town. The only suggestion we have is to have the pool heated to a comfortable swimming temperature. With all the sun Adelaide gets maybe some solar heating for it would make it more usable as it was really cold in April yet the air temperature was very warm.
-
Location is not right in city centre, but was nice to stay around a quiter area. Would have been nice to experiene relaxing outside, odd there are no chairs or tables around the balcony area.
-
The freezing cold pool wasn’t great for anyone and hiring out the pool area for a hens night only to be told by the party that “We are going to get loud probs not the best for kids to be around” at 4:30pm is pretty poor form
-
The staff were very rude and unhelpful
-
Breakfast OK, but could have had better choices Was quite noisy on occasions - kids running around the reception area and I could hear my "neighbours" for a while

This location is not great for nearby restaurants especially if you need a late dinner or weekend breakfast. CBD Adelaide is walkable and there is free bus and tram service. I thought the staff was not as friendly or helpful as other places we had been in Australia.
-
We flew in late, this was a great option, easy parking, neat and modern room. Great value for money.
-
Location, views of the park, modern rooms, nice pool. Pool closed for private functions on a Saturday, and pool parties on a Sunday.. therefore limited access to guests for pool use. Ask to stay and extra night, despite vacancies quote was $$$$$ and reception staff dismissive.
-
Service at reception could be improved.
-
Both hotel and pool are amazing. I would suggest asking for the schedule of pre-booked functions/ events that are booked via restaurant to ensure the schedule of them doesn't interfere with your stay.

We keep coming back and it's always the same - great. This must be our 7th-8th time. The staff are wonderful, helpful, polite and no request is too much. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want and is excellent value. Although car parking has a fee there is always plenty of room, even at peak times. The pool is always in use with lots of umberalls for shade.
-
Location. Too many noisy children, banging and thumping until late in the night.
-
The management were the rudest ever!!!
-
The room was really lovely, overlooking the park, modern, well appointed, comfy. Couldn't get the ironing board down. Coffee maker was faulty (but quickly replaced) Undersides of tables dusty.

I have stayed at Hotel Alba a couple times now. It has definitely become my favourite place to stay when visiting Adelaide. The rooms are super clean, staff are really friendly, and the location is good. The hotel is right on the edge of the city but it's a 5 minute walk down to a tram stop to head right in. Definitely will be coming back again.
