Wow. We booked this place last-minute on a whim, one of the non-spa/pool access rooms on the top floor with a view of both the street and the mountains... it blew us away. The loft-style apartment is something out of a magazine -- a balcony great for a bottle of wine, a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and even aircon (plus heat, obviously). We hadn't done our research so didn't realize this must be the most touristy mountain town in Poland, but it was a lovely experience -- after seeing the town, we basically hid-out in this gem of an apartment. Parking was easy too, not something all properties can boast. This was probably the most expensive place we stayed in our 10 days in Poland, but it was worth every penny. This isn't a minus -- more like a clarification, but be aware that the breakfast is incredible. We thought it was just a basic continental breakfast (great spread), but come to find out they were just busy -- it's actually a made-to-order full breakfast as part of the room rate (if you get breakfast included). By the time we realized that, we were already full. Again, not an issue, just a clarification for others staying.

The location is wonderful. Silent. Very good breakfast. Some rooms do not have air conditioning. This is very important in the summer when the temperature is high. There are no safes in the rooms.

Location, swimming pool, sauna. Room was very beautiful and quiet. Too many people in swimming pool. Boxy balcon
-
The pool was a hit with the kids and walking distance to everything The elevator was broken and the bed/ sofa bed could be more comfortable
-
The property is very good and just 1 min away from the main street. Stayed only for 1 night bit liked it very much.

Food, bed and staff all very good Absolutely brilliant location

The location is excellent, just a few steps from the lively Krupówki Street, yet the apartment itself was quiet and comfortable. The underground garage was a big plus during the cold, snowy days, keeping the car warm, dry, and snow-free. The apartment was cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable for our stay. Breakfast was another highlight — a great variety of fresh, tasty options, more than enough to start the day right. For the price we paid and considering guest comfort, we would have appreciated some basic kitchen items such as sugar, salt, and paper towels. A Nespresso machine with coffee pods would also be a welcome addition, as this has become fairly standard in many accommodations of this category. We stayed in apartment 206, where the shower’s water direction selector valve was not working properly. Unfortunately, the reception staff were not very warm or communicative and often appeared moody, which left a less favorable impression than expected from a high-end property like Giewont Aparthotel.

Location, staff, mini kitchen, spa. Charging for cleaning, only two towels upon arrival, no bathroom mat, water was overflowing on the floor from unsealed shower doors, no coffee or coffee maker.

The breakfast should have more options

The location was perfect, right next to the main street of Zakopane. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I treated the hotel as a base for different trekking trips every day and it accomplished its goal. I've taken advantage of the underground car parking which was a big plus. The room was very clean, nice and comfortable, nothing to complain about. The swimming pool and sauna in the hotel were a blessing after a tiring day spent in the Tatra mountains! Nothing worth mentioning really.

The selection at breakfast was mediocre. We ate somewhere else

Two are the main things needed in a hotel: cleanliness and beds. The first was generally ok, but beds were just not enough. We were a family of four and kids were going to sleep in the sofa bed but the sofa proved to be designed for hobbits. Our kids are 10 & 14 and just could not fit. Their legs were hanging outside. When communicated with the establishment they just replied that the sofa is for two persons. Not even close! Additionally we had not enough sheets so had to use one towel to cover part of the sofa. Very frustrating will definitely NOT be coming back.

The location in the center of city centre I loved the location a lot, the parking free the TV is smart TV the kitchen is fully equipped with every thing even the toaster dish washer washing machine plates forks knives spoons everything The only thing I didn’t like is the rooms on top of the bed the sealing is down the wall kept hitting my head and kids head every time I come near the bed it’s too Annoying and the charges for cleaning the room is too high it’s 70 € it’s to high it should be free and clean every time not by requesting to clean and it’s a villa for 6 people with one bathroom the roof top has 2 beds also the same system your head can be broken with hitting the roof

The location is incredible, right in the center of Zakopane and the underground parking is a dream! The apartments are very modern and quite spacious. The spa is beautiful especially after long days of hiking!

Positives: Room and Corridor Decor: The rooms and corridors are nicely decorated, which provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere right upon entering. The aesthetic appeal of the interiors does add a touch of charm to the stay. Location: The hotel boasts an excellent location downtown on Krupówki Street, one of Zakopane’s most vibrant areas. This central location is perfect for exploring the town’s attractions, dining, and shopping options. Negatives: 1. Elevator Reliability: The hotel’s elevator was highly unreliable, breaking down multiple times during my stay. This issue was particularly problematic for a handicapped teenager with his elderly parents, compelling them to use the stairs. 2. Breakfast Options: The breakfast selection was very limited, which was disappointing, especially given the hotel's promising location and decor. 3. Room Amenities: Basic amenities such as bathroom slippers were absent, which was an unexpected oversight that affected the overall comfort of our stay. 4. Housekeeping Service: The cleanliness standards were not met, as our room did not receive any cleaning service during our two-day visit. 5. Bedroom Shades: The lack of proper shades in the bedroom was a significant inconvenience, affecting our privacy and sleep quality. 6. Staff Flexibility: The reception staff were not accommodating. They refused to relocate us to another room even though alternatives were available, which could have improved our experience considerably. Conclusion: While the ApartHotel GIEWONT scores high on decor and location, the overall experience was undermined by several operational flaws, from maintenance issues to service shortcomings. For future guests, this hotel could potentially offer a pleasant stay if these critical areas are addressed. However, based on my experience, I urge the hotel management to take immediate steps to improve their services and facilities.

Spacious rooms, location No free clearing service if you stay for more than one night

Some of the worst beds we've ever slept on. Also, there were some oddities about the staff (additional charges without them letting us know prior, and no one came to clean the second day).
