Hampton by Hilton York Piccadilly

Great hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk from Piccadilly Station. We stayed for two nights and found the room clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast had a good selection. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

Environment The rooms are not spacious enough

The AC and breakfast:) The clerk was sniffy with me: I’m a person of color. She wasn’t helpful or friendly. It’s ok. Brits are very kind, but she failed to get the memo.

Location was decent. Room was decent. Overpriced.

Location The staffs who couldn’t turn on the soccer game. We waited for 45 mins…that’s awful!!!

Location The beds are small to low down

Nice bright hotel. Great location. Good breakfast I would have preferred to have a choice of regular filter coffee. Machine coffee was too strong.

Everything The only tiny detail was that the bed wasn’t made when the room was cleaned

The bed was too low for me being a wheelchair user. It was very difficult getting on and off it. In fairness to the staff they raised the height when I asked but it was only by a few inches given the nature of its construction. Even a children's bed is higher. That was the only fault at the hotel.

Only life worked. 2nd lift sliw or taken up with cleaning and trollies. Not somewhere I would stay.

The staff were excellent throughout our stay efficient, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of options and plenty of seating available if you avoid the rush. Booked the room for three people and the sofa bed was very disappointing. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt more like a basic camper bed rather than a proper sofa bed suitable for a hotel stay. The main bed was also quite low to the floor and not very comfortable either.

Hotel is very well located near city center and walkable to all places nearby. Hotel is good, comfortable and staff too is co-operative too. Been vegetarian, it would be good if more vege option in breakfast

Great location, rooms are quite large and breakfast was excellent.

Good location Staff friendly Very large queue upon checking in. Off milk in our room, replaced with fresh milk from downstairs that also curdled so went out and bought fresh milk . Daughters sofa bed was hard as rock! Breakfast seating area was very cold (air-conditioning on) and the food was cold .

Everything you would expect from this brand and good value. Described as "with parking". It has none, you have to use local car parks. Expensive unless you have a Blue Badge. Breakfast was fine, but not particularly upmarket.
