Breakfast was good quality and variety. Location very central and within walking distance to attractions
-
Location, breakfast, the staff. On site parking for motor cycle. Nothing
-
Proximity to centre Very tired building, outside seating area somewhat to be desired, although signs up to inform maintenance are dealing with repairs. Bedroom good enough to just put your head down and sleep but couldn't open door fully as bedside table in the way due to small room. Bathroom very tired.

Close to town centre Dated room, nothing like the pictures, stains in the carpet, bathroom deteriorating. I have stayed in better travel lodges for half the price! The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. To think I paid £239 for one night in what looked like a truckers pit stop, breakfast at £25 each totalling £50 for total slop! Totally ripped off! Delivery truck reverse beeper sounding at 5am. Was expecting quality, received utter rubbish! Will be warning people and putting a review on social media also. And Hilton puts their name to this place? no wonder the place was empty.

As usual it was the location and the staff were exceptional The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the breakfast half cooked sausages thick cheap salty bacon and which is surprising for this type of hotel I think breakfast was overpriced compared to other hotels who would serve up a better full English breakfast

Lovely staff and breakfast, easy check in and nice location. We felt that the value for money was lacking here slightly. The family room was nice and spacious but seemed a little worse for wear considering the high price we felt we paid. Nothing majorly wrong with the room it had everything we needed but we saw lots of marks and scuffs on the furniture and carpet, a few non functioning items in addition to two holes in the floor under the carpet. We visited with an elderly relative who found this a little unnerving due to her mobility. The aircon didn’t work properly and was very loud also. Overall the room itself just didn’t feel worth the money but with a lick of paint and some tlc i think it could be. We do realise that is the risk you maybe take booking a family room due to its increased wear and tear? Couldn’t fault the staff though they were great!

I love how close to the center of York it is, absolutely perfect. The hotel is beautiful and every time I go to york I will always stay here. It really does have everything you need. The room was small for the price.

comfortable, clean, quiet, close to town centre. Cost of parking, breakfast was hit and miss.

It was near enough the centre The layout of the room from a woman’s perspective was poor. Lighting was not good enough. There was a tv on the dressing table which would have been better on the wall so that the dressing table could have been used with a mirror on it. Also the shaving mirror light didn’t work neither did the light above the mirror in the bathroom did report this but nothing was done Also the tea and coffee tray was in the wardrobe and the only place you could have used this was where the TV was not a good idea to have a kettle plugged in next to a TV So we didn’t use it. Also a small fridge would have been useful For the amount we paid for 3 nights I would have expected more from the room Breakfast was very good We did go to have dinner one night at 6:50 but no one was in the bar or restaurant we waited for about 5-10 minutes but just decided to eat out. We wouldn’t stay there again

Staff were amazing and perfect location. The older part of the hotel was shabby and tired.

Close to city Needs updating. Aircon was poor. Towel rail on the wall in 207 is not screwed in properly. Rubbish left in the corridors.
