Great place would stay here again.

One thing I did not like was how the lock the doors before 11:00am. But I like the hotel was cleaned and everything was working goo.

The room had an awful smell, my granddaughters firat words were "it stinks in here".. grandson got a cup.of water and a piece of ice out of the ice tray and there was stuff floating in it. The comforter was as thin as a sheet. The smoke detector had a blue ring light on it that was bright enough to keep me up pretty muc all night. It was a horrible stay. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Comforter was dirty. Place really need to be upgraded. Today I called to ask a question. I asked whom was i speaking to the did not want to give their name, I said i did not understand what they said. At that point they hung up on me. I will NEVER!! stay with them again and I will not recommend them to anyone.

Rooms need to be updated, okay for a 1 or 2 days stay

Location was great

It happened as I was leaving to check out. The door handle wouldn't move, despite no lock or latch engaged. I placed 2 calls to the main desk, and with the 2nd, a maintenance man was sent to remedy the situation. He badged into the room with no trouble at all. Then he let the door shut. Suddenly we were both locked in. Ultimately, he had to bust through a screen window to badge us both out. I asked for a refund for this 2nd of my 2 night stay through the office directly and Hotels. Suburban Studios flatly refused twice. I also gave Choice Hotels a description of the incident. My primary grievance is with the nature of this incident. Every room in this property has a stove; so, every room is at a higher chance than your typical hotel room of being a site of a fire. Imagine being a small child, or someone with a mobility issue, who has a fire break out in their room only to find that their door is somehow locked on the inside. Do you expect this guest to bust through a screen and jump out a window? I deeply hope that Choice took my mention of the fire risk seriously. My lesser, secondary issue is the refund, solely because this appears to be part of a pattern of the hotel refusing to give back money over legitimate causes. See a different April '26 review on Choice for support; this behavior isn't a fluke.

VERY unamused and a waste of money!

Affordable and moderately clean. The area is very sketchy. People were almost always sitting on the stairs and wouldn't move when you needed to get by. Each time I came and went, there were the same people with two incredibly aggressive and reactive dogs outside. Id go in my room for hours and come out to leave and they would still be sitting outside near the stairs. A lot of long term residence/people living there. There was a school bus parked adjacent to the parking lot and there appeared to be people living in there and coming and going as well. If you are traveling with animals or kids- I do not recommend staying here due to the safety concerns regarding aggressive/reactive dogs. I also observed individuals using substances in the breezeways and being rough with their children.

No pots,pans or utensils. So purchase some before you arrive. If you plan on cooking.

The room was nasty ? smelled like weed and cigarettes... brown substance running down the wall in the bathroom. The entire room needs a thorough cleaning!!!
