Grand Canyon Railway Hotel

Highly recommend works so well if riding the train to GC. Harvey house restaurant has an excellent breakfast buffet.

The bar was great, Arizona seems to have less alcohol options in general compared to other places but they carry all types of the most popular drinks and this bar was no different. They can make almost anything. Breakfast buffet was pretty good, one thing to note is that it's not included with the room. So there is a price. The grand canyon train and story. There is an event that happens at 9am right before the train ride, so you want to wake up early and eat breakfast before then to catch the event, which is a prequel themed story to the train ride.

A lovely hotel, very conveniently located in the centre of Williams. Good amenities and plenty of parking. Walkable to the shops and to catch the train to the Grand Canyon.

We should not have to pay to use the games in the game room. Expand the game room, add billiards and fooseball, and let families enjoy themselves without adding $5-20 extra just to use vending machines.

Hotel was great, felt fresh even for an older hotel. Great history, close to old town Williams. Only negative was that it was so large and the pool was not conveniently located. We will come back.

We stayed in the renovated section but very nice for the money. Staff very helpful and very handy to get to restaurant and train Depot without driving.

Excellent place to stay …walking distance to everything.

Overall it was a decent enough stay, but there were issues that would keep us from going back. It was conveniently located within easy walking distance of the main attractions in the area. The bed was incredibly hard, we asked if they had mattress toppers but they didn't, so a lovely desk clerk gave us a stack of blankets to try to make the situation better. It did not. Two terribly uncomfortable nights of sleep was enough for us, we are glad we did not book more than two nights. The room was, for the most part, clean however there was something round, hard and slightly sticky on the carpet in between the beds. Perhaps the most frustrating thing was the TV. I know we were there to see the sights and go out and do things, but at some point you just want to get back to the room and chill. The TV was straight out of the 1990's. A scrolling guide on a single channel, a time zone that was incorrect, so even if you thought you found something to watch it wasn't really what was on. No internet capabilities at all so no viewing your folio charges, or watching something streaming or even casting from your phone to the TV.
