The room was better than expected. A bedroom with two beds separated from a living room. The bedroom did not have a separate air conditioner however, which made the choice between staying cool or staying private mutually exclusive. Full size fully stocked kitchen was a nice amenity. Room was on the older side, but clean enough. Do wish the bedroom had room darkening curtains as the lights outside were bright. Would stay again for the rate was right for a small family traveling on a budget.

Location was fine. The value was fine. Small room.
-
Clean near ⛱️ Everything.

The hotel was very dirty. The rooms were horrible never again

Convenience to beach Guests ruled the motel. Loud music, pool takeover, all BBQ grills used by same group for hours. All this going on just outside the main office door. This is a 5 star one-star motel at its finest.

The Aztec is a nice motel. Pool is clean. Room has kitchen small fridge stove and microwave. Also has pans if you cook. My room was missing a lamp on nightstand and they brought one in a couple hours. There's a light on ceiling with a fan but no way to turn off fan without turning off light, otherwise the lamp wouldn't be needed. Within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk, bike rentals, restaurants. Little Italy, excellent Italian with early bird specials, Bandanas Mexican food, also excellent. Ice cream across the street. Also a good place to eat in the hotel across the street on Ocean Ave. Been to Wildwood Crest many times, always stayed in Caribbean, but they were full, also much more expensive. They have coffee and cold water in lobby. Aztec is a great place to stay. They also own the African Safari next door.

Great location and clean but older and a little beat up. We were on a budget and comfortable there but if you're picky and you have the money you might want to stay somewhere else. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again if the price was right.

We were not even aware that there was any breakfast. The bathtub took forever to drain after a shower, the air conditioner was extremely loud, and there were several electrical outlets that did not work. However, the room was very clean.

Zach and Kylie made us feel right at home, answered all questions patiently and happily. Overall the hotel has everything one can need while spending time at wildwood or the jerseys shore. The real time should be spent outside and enjoying the beach and activities so clothe room was perfect that we can come back to a clean sanitary room after being gone all day. Even if you spend more time in the room than most it’s very relaxing w big window overlooking pool and beach as well as seating right in front of your door w a small table , lreally enjoyed the time

If you grew up going to Wildwood (I’m mid 40’s) you’ll appreciate this hotel for its nostalgia it’s everything you’ll remember not fancy, bare minimum accommodations and not updated since it was probably built. Definitely a dated property but clean-ish, no carpets which were a plus but floors felt gritty like they aren’t mopped often. You’re at the beach so I guess some would say to be expected. No bugs = + Bathroom definitely older style and tub was a very slow drain and backed up which was gross. Mini fridge kept things cold, we didn’t use the stove. I did tell front desk about the tub but not sure maintenance ever resolved it because subsequent showers it backed up again. We stayed the weekend and that was plenty. Blinds in both hotel room and bathroom didn’t work properly. There were little kids staying on our floor and were up super early making noise outside the door so sleeping in was definitely not an option. Very thin walls. For the price for the night est. $250 night they should make improvements. AC was set to 65 upon arrival, room def stays cold which was nice. Bedding was clean, but beds were just basic no frills.
