Motel 6 Wichita, KS

Great place to stay staff is amazing clean rooms and tons of shops near by.

We were put in a 2nd floor room (should have asked for a 1st floor room, we had two small dogs with us and the stairs were difficult for them), our room smelled like marijuana, the beds were way to small, the tv didn't get many channels and someone had changed the picture on the tv and it cut off the top half of the picture, they only give you 2 towels even though we booked a room for 3 people, the pool was half full and disgustingly dirty. However, the room was clean. I was not very happy about this place, I know they say you get what you pay for but I have stayed other places at about the same price and they were alot better, the only reason we choose Motel 6 is because pets stay free, but I would not recommend if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay.

They advertised a pool . This is the ONLY reason I chose to stay there. I get there, and there IS A POOL!!! AN EMPTY POOL!! I also had items stolen out of my room. NEVER AGAIN!!

Quiet and relaxing

The pool was not open and we did have to switch rooms two times because ours wasn’t clean when we arrived. It was okay did the price.

Overall, once we got checked in, it was okay for the price. Checking in was a nightmare. We arrived approx 9 pm, and had to register thru the tiny window. The clerk spoke very poor English and communicating through the window was exasperating. Took about 15 minutes for a simple prepaid check in. To say I was unhappy after a long days drive is an understatement. The room was okay (again for the price) except the floor was peeling in a couple of places and could be a trip hazard if not careful. The A/C, the bathroom, and the bed were okay. We didn't try the TV, too tired. Cannot recommend this place due to the horrible check in experience.

I had a nice room with a comfortable bed. I really didn't like the long term neighbor next door who couldn't shut their dog up.

I didn’t like anything at this property I checked in and out within 10 mins Horrible location, didn’t feel safe with my child there no pool it was all around horrible

Most of the staff here are amazing and I really enjoy interacting with them when it's necessary.

Unfortunately there is no pool at this location available for use. Other than that, I've had good experiences almost every time I've stayed.

Sure stay now open.. Motel 6 has raised their prices again 70 to 90 dollars.. I have paid both... Sure Stay hotel next door is now open... The room I stayed in had burnt holes in the blankets.Burnt marks in the bathroom in the shower on the toilet.And in the sink.. No cable t v.. The room stinks just like the front office , does stinks like body order , just like the front office.. Fridge, raider was not plugged in microwave is missing.The glass plate inside of the microwave.. But all in all a good peaceful stay.. But the only motel that allows smoking.. Definitely , a one or two star motel still...

The room was very nice and comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing. I will be booking there more often. Everything you need is within walking distance.
