Facility and service

Location is about a 7 minute walk from Stephansplatz, and a short bus or taxi ride away from many places. It’s actually a location for the big red bus. In terms of the property itself, the hotel is clean and has decent services. The staff are friendly and do their best to accommodate requests. A nice gentleman named Igore helped us sort out a room change when we had an issue with ours. The reception was always helpful and even offered us goodbye snacks on the way home. The AC may not always work, but the staff will do their best to help fix it. They also don’t refresh the water bottles daily, so you do need to make sure you stock up.

The hotel has parking (paid) and this was great help. It is walking distance from the center and it is located in a very safe area. The single room I booked was big enough and very clean. Breakfast was served in a nice room with a view.

It is very near to the center and the park Elevator too very small

The reception and bar staff was outstanding…friendly, professional and genuinely kind. Our room was extremely comfortable with gorgeous views of Vienna. The rooms are on the higher floors of a building which give the hotel an exclusive, executive club sort of ambience. Lounges were stocked with daily major world newspapers. I greatly appreciate the carpeting in the rooms as that’s a rarity these days outside of 5-star hotels, and gives a hotel a high end look and feel. The room was well stocked with bathrobes, slippers, coffee, glasses and bathroom amenities. Pulling up to the hotel to unload is super easy. We used street parking but reasonable valet parking is available. The location is perfect with attractions and many excellent restaurants nearby. Only minor complaint is the bath gel/shampoo bottle mounted in the shower.

Friendly staff, super nice views from the room. The bed was utterly small. I did not manage to sleep well any night

The view is amazing!! Highly recommend booking a room with a balcony. I could even hear the opera when I was sitting outside on my balcony. Breakfast is great with a variety of options, including salmon and sparkling wine. Stayed in the single room which had more than enough space for a single traveller. Nothing.

Service, location, crispy clean room.

+ Great made to order breakfast + Flawless WiFi + Great views, the balcony was worth the upgrade + Parking was simple. It was expensive, but Vienna is a big city so you expect parking to cost a lot + Staff was very responsive to questions + Very clean - Rarely do I write a review where I have nothing negative to say, but in this case my only real criticism is the rooms are on the smaller side. Not sure if it is fair to call this a negative, as the hotel clearly tells you the size.

The view from the balcony was spectacular! And the location in front of a charming park is absolutely fabulous. At the hotel desk, Marlena and Verona were solid gold! Also, one of the cleaning staff, a tall young brunette with braids, was extremely helpful and considerate. We enjoyed our stay so much that we returned there for one night before our flight back, and Marlena, Verona and the staff made us feel as if we were coming home. Hotel Am Parkring did much to make our stay in Vienna unforgettable, and we will always be grateful. So much so, that we now are considering returning to Vienna and staying there again! Nothing
