Hotel Calmo

The room was spacious. The hotel was close to the Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof and, in general, close to public transportation If you are on a higher floor, you might need to wait a bit for the elevator. The bathroom was a bit small.

Towels left fabric bits when used on wet skin, this was annoying and not pleasant.

Air condition was useful. Close to city center(15 mins with tram D), comfortable but narrow beds There was a building construction next to hotel, sometimes caused so much noise, they even started to work at 7 a.m. Beds were narrow, no balcony to hang clothes

Helpful welcoming staff Front rooms are facing the tram rails and it gets very noisy . A construction site also opened nearby. Ask for comfort rooms which are facing the backyard . Overall "Calmo" is not really aligned with reality in the field anymore

The room was very spacious. The fridge was appreciated. We felt safe and comfortable. The staff were happy, helpful and kind. The trams and trains were a short walk. There was a pastry stop nearby as well. The street was quiet. We had a nice view, excellent ventalation, and an AC unit. The location is a bit isolated as it is a quiet street with construction of buildings around and a lack of other businesses. It is nice because it was always quiet and no traffic, foot or car. Not a problem just need to be aware of.

We booked a double bed but they put 2 twin beds together with 2 twin blankets.

Good AC. Close to Tram. I reserved the day before and the staff had no record of it. I had to provide the personal data which I already gave on Booking. Pillows were rather uncomfortable.

Flexibility to take

Recommended, will go back when I visit Vienna again. I think in 21st century little fridge must be in room, it was not good that we didn't have any fridge. Water boiler is not in room but if you ask in reception they will provide. Also would recommend hotel staff to clean windows frames properly.

Clean and nice accommodation ✌?

The property was easy to find and well staffed. The rooms were generous in size as were bathrooms. We appreciated having a fridge in the rooms. The rooms were bright from the large windows. We appreciated that and the view. Staff were attentive and kind. Public transportation of trams and trains were very close with 4 different options. The location is a bit isolated meaning that the business around were permanently closed so there wasn’t any foot traffic and hardly any cars. As a travel I prefer being a little closer to where more people are and blend in. One street over in any direction there was foot traffic, stores, restaurants, and traffic. Not a big negative, I would still choose to stay here.

It’s in a very relaxed area, and the room had everything you need in a very clean state

The elevator was out of service, it seems it was a long time and they didn’t even fix it. My room was in floor 6 and it was terrible

The elevator was broken during out stay and our room was located at the 6th floor

when I arrived the girl from the reception didn't want to open the garage for me until I filled out some papers and the car was on the way, then I had to park the car 2km away and carry all my stuff to go to the room, the parking lot is too narrow and it's hard to park Also, the train is very loud and you can't sleep

Hotel is located close to both a train station and tram (allowing easy access to the city). Rooms were a good size and staff were friendly.

Location of the hotel, around 40 minutes walk to the city center. Room with everything you need, very clean. Great staff.

Quiet, clean, close to public transport Cannot point any significant disappointment.
