Hôtel & Spa Le Maury, The Originals Boutique, Vannes

Are room was clean, well appointed, and very large. We loved staying at your hotel.

I booked Hotel Le Maury because it is a 4-star hotel that provided parking (Vannes is mainly pedestrian in the center). Turned out if was even closer than I thought to the city center. We walked to the Vannes Cathedral, and it was only a half-mile way. And there were lovely shops along the way (and a Monoprix) right before you enter the city center. Our superior double rooms were lovely -- comfortable beds, great decor and bedding, beautiful bathroom (with separate toilet). The breakfast cost extra (in our reservation), but it had all the hot and cold dishes you could expect or want, and it was nicely laid out. Also enjoyed the bar service at night, where we had an excellent glass of chardonnay and the charcuterie board, that was delicious. The best part was the lovely staff -- especially Arthur who was very helpful with our bags when we arrived and Florence (sp?) was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend as a base for a tour of southern Bretagne.

Very clean, comfy bed and bed linens were great. The breakfast was amazing, we were set for the day. The coffee machine makes it fun. Arthur, the manager, was amazing. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was so helpful and spoke great English. The rest of the staff was very kind and helpful and took great care of us We were in a great room so everything was great!

The staff was just fantastic. The breakfast was very good. And the location was great.

This is a very nice spa/hotel in a great location, not far from the oldest part of town as well as shops, markets, etc. Our room was comfortable and nicely updated. We were on the ground floor, just around the corner from reception, and I would have asked for a different room ideally.

I don't know how this property got four stars; maybe it was the spa we never used. But the facilities were tight placed and poorly lit. The towels were like gym towels and there were essentially no toiletries…you'd think having a spa on the property would lead to lotions and other items in the rooms. The staff were efficient but curt and without the usual greetings.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They even had a QR code to put the directions to nearby free parking on your phone. The room was very modern and clean. The breakfast was excellent. Slightly outside the center, but that is actually an advantage when trying to park.

The entire staff was excellent: the concierges, the breakfast staff and the housekeeping. On our arrival the concierge recommended two wonderful restaurants for dinner. The breakfast was excellent! Location was very convenient to the old town. This hotel is just one of the many reasons Vannes was our favorite city in Bretagne!
