Hotel Villacarlos

We enjoyed being able to cook dinner after weeks of staying with a host family. The cool AC made the space comfortable, and it was nice to relax and spend a great evening with friends. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave; we would have gladly booked more nights once we found this gem.

The hotel receptionist went out of his way to help me when Google maps took me to the wrong location. Apparently this is a common thing for guests. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was extremely limited, had I known I would have eaten elsewhere.

Price was fair and staff were friendly, shower very good power. Not far from Valencia FC The room was quite hot and the air conditioning wasn't cold even when set to 5 degrees and opening the window didn't do much as had a room that was just walls all around. Also quite dim in the bathroom as just a couple of small lights over the sink.

I'd like location The window of the room faced an air shaft filled with ventilation pipes, and it was terrible — especially on the second floor. There was absolutely no airflow and no natural light. Rooms like this should be used only for storage, not for accommodating people.

Despite the small and easily crowded room where breakfast is served, I appreciated the very good breakfast served by this hotel. The hotel's location is definitely within a good walking distance of the city center. I think the relatively low fare is good value for money when you consider the OK room, facilities and service, good location and very good breakfast. I got a room facing an internal courtyard. It had blinding curtains, so I didn't have to see it all the time. However, that room definitely wasn't the best option if you had to spend a long time in the room.

The hotel has a great location within 10-15 minutes walk from Museum of Sciences. There are shops and reastaurants nearby and lots of opportunity to rent a bike. N/A

The breakfast was buffet with a variety of meets, cheese, breads and fruit available also fresh orange juice with tea and coffee. The restaurant staffs were very friendly and kept topping up the buffet. An enjoyable breakfast. The room was exceptionally large warm and clean as was the bathroom. The location was excellent within 30 minute walking distance to the old City Centre and port. Taxi's were also an option and affordable. I could not fault this hotel and should I return to Valencia I will book this hotel again

Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Excellent daily house keeping. Easy check in with friendly staff, Good continental breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit. Equidistant, about 30 minute walk, from the old town, the beach area and the science museum and aquarium area. Lots pf bars nearby and the best night life area, Ruzafa, is a 20 stroll.
