The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by lush greenery. We stayed in a room with a private pool, which was fantastic, but the main pool is also beautiful and offers a lovely view of the tropical surroundings. A nice touch was the complimentary 15-minute massage. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. We also tried the floating breakfast, which was a wonderful experience. We would especially like to thank the resort's driver, Warsa, whom we hired for a full-day tour. He was extremely kind, professional, and flexible, tailoring the itinerary so we could see as many places as possible in one day. His recommendations and excellent organization made our trip even more enjoyable. Getting to the town center from the resort is easy and affordable with Grab. Although it's only a few kilometers away, the drive can take around 30 minutes due to Bali's heavy traffic, which is completely normal. We never had any issues getting a ride

The massage at the spa was excellent — truly relaxing and professional, though a bit pricey. And a special thank you for the lovely farewell gift at the end of our stay — such a nice touch! Thank you all so much for an amazing stay! The only downside was not related to the hotel itself, but to Booking.com — we booked an airport transfer through them, and it turned out to be a scam: the driver never showed up. We spent over 40 minutes looking for him, but he was nowhere to be found, so we had to order a taxi ourselves — and we never got a refund. Terrible

Everything about this boutique magical hotel exceeded my expectations. It is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail is exceptional, from the beautiful architecture and artwork, facilities, and overall atmosphere. The resort feels peaceful has an authentic vibe and thoughtfully designed in every way. A special thank you to Era, who was incredibly kind and welcoming Her hospitality made a real difference and added joy to my arrival to Bali. I was also pleasantly surprised when the hotel kindly upgraded my room at no extra charge, which made my stay even more memorable. Every member of staff I interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making guests feel comfortable and valued. Honestly, nothing. My stay was excellent from start to finish, and I could not find anything significant that needs improvement.

We had a great time at the Amarea Resort. The staff is super friendly and attentive, they take care of every detail. I needed medical assistance during my stay there and they got me a doctor within the hour. The breakfast at the restaurant was very fresh and generous, the "Amarea in a bowl" is a must. After staying in Ubud, we headed to Munduk and they offered us the transportation at a better rate than other taxi companies. I highly recommend to take this service, it's hussle free and you make sure to take a trusted driver. They also offer a free shuttle to the city center which is very convenient. Ubud is extremely humid, a system to make the air flow and extract the humidity from the rooms would be a game changer.

Beautiful hotel, spacious villa, nice daily breakfast and 20-minute shoulder massage per person included in the rate. The staff are available 24/7 via WhatsApp which made it easy to communicate. Excellent air conditioning and rain shower. Tucked away in a quiet area but a short drive away from the main center. Everything was excellent

Our stay at Amara Resort & Spa Ubud was, without exaggeration, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We originally booked four nights, but ended up extending our stay by two more — and honestly, we would have stayed even longer if we could. That alone says everything. The service is simply on another level. Every single member of staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. During our stay, we had a few health issues, and the way the team supported us was beyond anything we could have expected. They helped us with everything, always with patience, warmth, and a level of empathy that is very rare to find. We have never met such genuinely kind people in a hotel before. The hotel itself is just as impressive. Everything is spotless, perfectly maintained, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell that every detail is taken care of — from the rooms to the common areas, everything feels calm, clean, and beautifully arranged. This place is not just a hotel, it’s an experience. It feels peaceful, welcoming, and truly special. We couldn’t recommend it more. It is, quite simply, perfect. We would come back every single time without hesitation. nothing to add

Nice atmosphere

Staff were super friendly, always going beyond to make us comfortable. Location was ok but going in takes a good driving skill as very small road towards the entrance but it isn't their fault. A car can still pass through so don't worry about grab car or gojek coming in. Though location is not central, that is what we loved about it, the peace and quiet. Food was so great always filling us in including a free afternoon tea. Not that we did not like but the pool, as other properties would in this hot weather, needs a bit of maintenance. Free massage for 20 mins but they left a little bit of the curtain open which was weird and I felt exposed to the people in pool.

The staff and the service was very very warm and welcoming. The restaurant is absolutely fantastic and the food quality is really good. We were really kindly upgraded to a private villa as when we only mentioned slight concern with the original room. Thank you to the whole staff and services. We would really recommend it to stay here. Not much.

Great service and warm welcome Nothing

Beautiful, peaceful resort surrounded by nature. Very calm atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and recharging. The staff was kind and attentive, the room was comfortable and clean, and the pool area was especially lovely. Great location close to Ubud but still quiet and private. Nothing major. Sometimes the humidity was noticeable, but that’s expected in Ubud and didn’t affect the overall experience.
