Flies everywhere. Window air conditioner built into the wall that kicks on and off all night. Towels were the worst of any hotel I’ve ever been to. Overall, gross. The view is it.

Location is great even it is remoted from downtown. Facility is older but clean. The breakfast is nothing special and you may look for alternatives. It is overpriced because of the location. The hotel itself is for me ok.

Just an ok hotel. Would have liked a better and healthier free breakfast options. Water bottles would be a nice add orange juice. Didn’t like that there was one ice machine for the entire complex. Had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs any time I wanted ice. Room had some bugs and spiders I had to take care of.

It was a nice Quiet Place to sit relax and enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony and at the beach

Needs lots of TLC

The view of the bay is perfect, staff was friendly and we enjoyed ourselves.

Room was clean, staff was welcoming, enjoyed our time in the water, on the beach and balcony.

The rooms are very old and outdated. The walkways were a little unkept. The pool, beach, and outside is very nice. Breakfast was to be served at 7 but the office was still closed at 7:10 when we checked.

I have never stayed at this property before and chose it because of the location and positive reviews. We paid just about $400 a night and at the very least expected a clean room. Unfortunately, we couldn’t even get that. The floors were filthy…not swept, dried and crusty spots all over, and a film of dirt/sticky covered every inch. Dust covered the lamps, tile in the bathroom was cracked and coming up from the floor, the mini fridge had never been cleaned, baseboards were dirty with dust, hair, crumbs. Walking barefoot was not an option. We requested the room cleaned again, but all that was done was a mopping with a swiffer…not going to cut it. Towels for the pool/beach are not provided. Room cleaning during your stay is also not provided. We did request bath towels and a linen change…but we had to change the sheets ourselves. The pool was filled with sand and the tables around the pool had bird poop and food on them. The place has not been updated in at least 30 years. I understand it’s Traverse City and you’re on the beach so things aren’t luxury, but this was pathetic. So overpriced (every hotel is) but we’ve stayed at other properties that weren’t amazing but not this bad either and they provided room cleanings every other day and towels for the beach. Not sure where all the positive reviews came from because this was not it.

The staff was so friendly.

Well maintained, unpretentious property. Superb beach with lots of seating. Jacuzzi bathtub was great. AC was a bit loud . Beds were very good.

The view is amazing. The beach is gorgeous. All worth the money. The room however is a different story. It’s VERY outdated. The shower is awful. I have had nicer showers camping. The door handle was barely on the bathroom door. There were hairs on the pillowcases. A stain on the sheets. It needs serious updates!

This was our second stay here, the first time was a year prior and it was a much different experience. This time there was hair in the sheets, the pull out bed had no sheets, I changed all the sheets myself. Sadly we will never stay here again.

Room was very outdated and uncomfortable. Terrible bathroom, shower and balcony. Very noisy AC
-
A lot of spiders, and the rooms need to be upgraded/painted.

The beach was the best part of this stay. Room was not clean, Older, bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The staff was the worst part. I was hung up on when she didn’t like what I was saying. I never raised my voice just tried to have a conversation. I have never been treated that way. I then told the gentleman manager and he didn’t care one bit then acted like he didn’t know who she was. I loved the town and will be back but I highly recommend to all stay somewhere else.

Great views. Old property. Floors were dirty, sounds from room above were loud( tv, walking around) sounded like they were in our room. Ran out of towels, no room cleaning when staying multiple nights. I will not be back.
