The Clarence Park - Hostel

it is in the heart of the downtown, has good breakfast, delicious coffee. Canteen was open till 11:00 p.m, anyone could bring their food and eat anytime.

The location to the city was excellent Breakfast did not provide juice. No suitcase holders in the bedroom.

The location and price are amazing for downtown Toronto! It is also very clean. The bedroom was quite hot in spite of the small air conditioner. It would’ve been nice to have a small shelf on the wall to put my glasses and phone and stuff like that.

The breakfast was underwhelming for what was advertised.

The location was amazing! The private room is clean and big. There is a parking for extra cost. The staff was not very respectful or friendly. There was a lot of stair to my room so if you have a luggage it can be challenging.

Can’t beat the location. It has a nice park right in front, a great LCBO right across from the park. They also have a great kitchen with multiple fridges, microwave, rice cooker, stove. And there’s complementary breakfast. The place is very clean. The vibe is super casual. Place feels safe. There’s always someone at the reception to keep an eye on things, even at night. Not all rooms have AC and I happened to go during a heatwave. I was lucky and had AC but my friend did not. Shower in my room didn’t have hot water. It took a while before the water got lukewarm enough to shower in.

Conveniently in downtown Toronto. I met many people from all over. Everything was clean and cozy. The staff was amazing. Lack of parking lol

It was right downtown. It was extremely convenient to everything. I liked everything!

I also asked for a simple accommodation and was told they would speak to the manager. That never happened. Instead, the staff left for the day without following up, so I was misled and my request was ignored. The overall experience felt unprofessional, and I was uncomfortable enough that I didn't even stay the night—I returned the keys and left. I would not recommend staying here unless you're a student with very basic expectations. I unfortunately was in a bad situation and had to find a place to stay for the night and they did not help whatsoever with my situation.

Ok guys y have to be careful they post like pet friendly the hotel and when u are there they says is not allowed my pet and I lost my reservation whit my money

The location was amazing, right by the union station, quick trip from the airport. And you have a park right in front with a view of the CN tower. No elevator though, so will need to carry luggage up some narrow steps. The lockers need a lock of your own, and the front desk clerk that checked me in, when walking me to my building which was just two doors down, SAW me struggling with my luggage (on rollers) and didn’t offer to help one bit. If your in the service industry then you should at least offer to help a little.

The ventilation of the bathroom is not optimal. There is moldy smell. The mattress was not comfortable, I can feel the spring inside.

The proporty was located in a good area. It was clean inside and very organized. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

Well located, friendly staff, clean. Rooms completly dark day or night, the electrical plugs were hazardous installed. The kitchen, and other commun areas in another building. We have to go out into the street if we want to go to the kitchen. Breakfast very limited
