Everything was lovely for our family stay. The location is just wonderful, right in the center of Tirolo. Tirolo itself is a lovely mountain town with beautiful walking paths, lovely architecture and really good hibe from the locals. Merano (a fantastic gemof a town!) is only 10 minutes away by car or 20 minutes by bus. Bus runs every 30 minutes so we found it to be a very convenient alternative to driving to Merano. Small Hotell Sonne has a lovely rooftop terrace with great views over the mountains and the valley. Must-do during summertime. Appreciated thebfact thar the hotel has a garrage and enough parking spaces, as well as an elevator. The host was fantastic! She surprised us with small home made gifts, which really mafe us feel very welcome and wanting to return. Good restaurants and cafes in the vicinity too! Everything around and about Tirolo and Merano seemed to be pet friendly. Overall and amazing experience that sincerely exceeded our expectations! Will plan to return. Nothing really. The only improvement I would suggest is on the mattresses and pillows. The mattress was a little too soft for us. But not a worry.
