***** STAY AWAY ***** Booked this property online. It was a scam from the get go. They kept sending messages asking for payment claiming the property is high in demand. We made the payment to secure our booking. Once we got there, we were welcomed by a partially fallen apart building. They were renovations going on and the entrance and check-in was moved to a table inside their resturant. There were absolutely no one staying there and we felt it was unsafe for us. Asked the front end employee to cancel our booking and issue a refund. We ended up getting another property last minute. Made a complain to booking.com with photo evidence. Still hasn’t received the refund and the hotel staff is now claiming that we dint cancel which is a lie. Pls find pictures attached to this review. The property not even closely resembles the pics they showcase and it’s undergoing renovations

The rooms were spacious and clean.It had all amenities like kettle, tea bags, space for luggage etc. The bed was quite big and comfortable and could easily accommodate 3 people. The staff was well behaved and helpful. The breakfast was really good with a lot of options.We took an auto to the ticket counter of Periyar tiger reserve which took hardly 5-6 mins. We can also walk to the market area and to the ticket counter in 15 mins. Nothing
