Beautiful property, conveniently located near the Convention Center and Benchmark Arena. That being said, this hotel leaves much to be desired. Hallways near rooms were narrow and dimly lit. Wi-fi in the hotel was spotty: signal was constantly dropping and shows on internet TV would buffer often. The pool and pool bar were closed for maintenance and we were told we could walk across the street to use the JW Marriott pool if we wanted to swim. Had I known this when booking, I would have chosen to stay at the JW Marriott, which we will, the next time we are in Tampa.

Super nice room

Not clean the room and many charges not included

The hotel rooms definitely need deeper cleaning. Our bathroom had lots of hair on floors and sink. Lobby is beautiful but rooms are out dated. For the price we would stay elsewhere next time.

The front desk was great. We had arrived early and she gave us the key to the pool and gym. She asked us if we wanted them to hold our bags which we did. Pool was so gorgeous, the view. Bar near the pool was amazing as well. When our room was ready, we picked up our stuff but one of the men offered to take our stuff upstairs for us, he was very kind. He also gave us some places to eat which we tried out one place right across amazing food. Check out was great, we did it through the app so we did not have to wait downstairs. Other issue we had was the outlets in the room weren’t working great.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered great views, and the location is hard to beat—within walking distance of the Riverwalk, Amalie Arena, and several excellent restaurants. The amenities, including the fitness center and pool, were top-notch. I highly recommend the Tampa Marriott Water Street to anyone traveling for business or leisure. I look forward to staying here again!

The property was lovely. The room was cleaned and ready for us. The staff were ridiculously helpful. The morning of checkout, we needed to have items transferred across the street and they graciously assisted. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Being a Bonvoy member as well helps and you get free Wi-Fi! So y’all make sure to sign up, it’s free with your email. Valet made things easy and seamless. The $200 incidental fee I had for my four day day, went straight to the valet so that was nice that there wasn’t an additional cost to that. Everything here is very seamless and convenient. I never once felt inconvenienced or like I was in an environment that was dirty or not up to par. Love that I could do things from my app as well like check-in and request extra towels, robes, pillows, etc. Especially love this hotel stay for any local benchmark, Arena concerts or events! Literally a four minute walk away it’s not even bad while it’s raining, speaking from experience. If you’re looking for a comfortable and nice hotel, this is the one! Have fun enjoy catching the rays in Florida!
