King bed was very spacious! The room was also very spacious, and checking in was easy and smooth. They had air con, and the room generally felt really clean. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety but was just okay, but nice of them to have it included.

The room is large. The location is good with free car parking. The breakfast is delicious. The staff is nice. The light is too dark.

The location was very good. It's right across from the Shui An Temple MRT station. There's a Carrefour and PX Mart across the hotel and a good number of small restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, but it's more local cuisine than international breakfast food. I would like to give a shout out to the staff. When I arrived in Taichung (after taking the High Speed Train), I realized that I left my iPad on the airplane. I spoke to the hotel concierge and they handled all the communication with my airline and airport. After a day, my iPad was delivered to the hotel and everything was alright. These are just nitpicks. The elevators are a bit slow, so on busy days, it can take a while for the elevators to come and go. In my bedroom, the LCD display for the lights and a/c were perpetually on and can be very distracting at night. I ended up taping a little cardboard sign over it just so it's not too bright at night. That's about it.

This property is very convienently located close to the Shui-An Temple MRT stop in Taichung. There are also lots of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel is comfortable, clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The only area for improvement was the breakfast. A few more healthy options would be welcome.

Location and the spacious room. The breakfast ends already at 9:30 when we found out the fruit were all gone, the staff refused to refill and only responded us that it’s all eaten, no more refill. The choice of the breakfast was very limited, not much western style.

Not too far from subway temple station however most places of interest were a fair distance on a bus. Not a lot to do in Taichung ( museums). Bed was somewhat hard so you toss and turn otherwise u get sore spots. The room was otherwise nice. Don’t like. Hotel sticks to 4 pm check in… miserable…for no good reason despite people waiting in the foyer. No other hotel in Taiwan we stayed in did that. Rainbow village to us was a small cluster of houses, colourful but other wise a silly waste of time. Not much to do in Taichung of interest. Fengchia Night Market was very crowded and overwhelming.
