Breakfast was good wish they kept potatoes for both mornings My microwave was dirty in my room they replaced right of way but one with crumbs lol but it worked

The continental breakfast was well presented and easy to access. Loved the coffee. The heavy smell of chlorine on the sheets and towels was off putting and made it difficult to sleep, breathing in the chlorine all night. If, I could suggest, use or provide some aromatherapy scents to make the rooms smell less sanitized. I like White Barn, concentrated room spray; sold by Bath and Body Works. It is the best! Our ADA room had a nightstand in ill repair. The jagged edge of the nightstand caught my husband’s arm and tore his skin in 2 places. He bled pretty good because of it. Lastly, I booked our reservation online and I was sure the Holiday Express was described as accepting/pet friendly. However, at check-in we were told their hotel was not pet friendly and we would have to pay additional $250. My husband contested this. The hotel was not willing to prove to us that the room we were staying in was free and clear of any prior pet spots. So we felt they were not trustworthy. When we travel, we don’t leave our dog alone in unfamiliar surroundings. She goes with us, so there would never be a problem of her marking the room, therefore no need to charge for a superficial inspection or cleaning.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool area was clean and the breakfast was good. Rooms were large and comfortable

Nice staff, clean room, great breakfast. Location little scary waiting to turn into driveway. Smelled cigarette smoke first night. I am highly allergic. After I mentioned it; no smellies the rest of stay. They offered another room but I declined.

Booked King bedroom, which they didn’t have available, and Expedia App did not show that during booking.

This property was wonderful! The room was clean and comfortable, the free breakfast was excellent and well-attended by staff, and the 24-7 Costa Coffee in the lobby was the best we had all trip. We will absolutely choose this hotel in the future!

Well, it’s a Holiday Inn Express, and we stay there because we know what to expect. We weren’t disappointed at this one. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was as good as any I’ve been to. Staff were friendly and helpful and the price was good. I’d stay there again!

This hotel was very nice. We found the bed to be comfortable, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was very good. The building appeared clean and relaxing. We would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Tacoma area.

I booked it through Booking.com. I then received a phone call saying that they didn’t have any rooms. And that I had to find something else at 8 o’clock on a Friday night. They didn’t have a room. They took $344.70 for one night at this crappy hotel they took my money and then they called me to tell me that the connection with Booking.com was messed up and that I have to process a refund. Booking.com is blaming Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn is blaming Booking.com. All I know is they have my money and this feels like fraud.

Always stay here when I come to town never been disappointed always so helpful.

The concierge, was above and beyond any other hospitality host I have encountered. She was amazing.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, and overall good no frills hotel stay. Front desk staff were all very pleasant. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy, definitely don't leave any valuables in your vehicle if parking overnight.
