Best Western Plus Hotel Stellar

The location is reasonably close to the CBD and at the edge of the Hyde park. it was ok but I expected more from a 4-star hotel. if I was alone, I would have stayed there longer but since I was with family and wanted a bit more comfort, after 4 nights, I moved to another hotel nearby.

This was my second stay at Hotel Stellar, having been let down by Oaks, up the road. It was a smaller room than I had previously, but it was still spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen area was equally nicely laid out, and the front desk was able to supply extra amenities, such as a chopping board and a sharp cutting knife. Whilst the large windows are at the side of the property, there was a slight side view of the park, which was nice, and I could also see the rather unusual sculpture outside the post office next door! I adore the full-height big curtains which exude a calming and cosy ambience when closed of an evening. The housekeeping staff were superb and friendly, as were the front desk staff, which I find goes a long way in making a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I think I can offer no better recommendation than to add that this was my second stay and I'll shortly be booking my third stay in this coming September!

Convenient to city and airport, with nearby train. Nothing really, this hotel suits me very well. Though the supplies in the kitchen are light on, and it's hard to bring my own sharp knife with cabin bag only!

Localização excelente, mesmo no centro da cidade, dá para visitar tudo a pé. Na receção, muito amáveis e simpáticos. Limpeza impecável. Quarto escuro e antigo - não se parece com o que mostram na foto. Cozinha sem uma placa de fogão, que é essencial quando se pretende uma kitchnett. Pouco isolamento acústico.

I have stayed at this Hotel on several previous occasions and rate it very highly. Nothing.

Clean, located close to central Sydney, nice kitchenette, quiet.

Great position, as it was close to my conference. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are very old and basic, not good value as they are quite expensive. Parking was very limited and expense on top, this I did not know till I reached the property.

The location of the hotel is great (within walking distance from Hyde Park, St. Mary's Cathedral and Sydney barracks). Friendly and helpful staff, rather spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, cozy kitchen area. Only one elevator, and it's very slow

Clean, comfortable, super convenient location room could do with some 'warm' lighting. Wasn't a fan of the squeeze liquid soaps

Huge 3-bedroom apartment and friendly staff. The location is amazing. It’s right next to Oxford Street and an easy walk or bus to the harbor apartment rooms are in the next building and accessed via stairwell

Excellent location, short walk to Hyde Park and Museum Station. Comfortable room with everything I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish they provided the old style toiletries. I can’t get used to the wall mounted dispensers that are supposed to do everything

Location was great. The mini kitchen was handy. The soap and shampoo dispensers were convenient and worked well. Nothing in particular
