Medusa Boutique Hotel

I love the staff at the Medusa, they are so kind and helpful and really friendly. I come to Sydney lots and it is so lovely to have people at the desk when you arrive which happens in so few smaller hotels these days. The rooms are stunning, beds and pillows are so luxurious and comfy. I love the decor and the bathrooms, just those luxuries like the LED vanity mirror and the dyson hairdryer. Literally nothing. I would stay there every time I come but I have a budget as I have to cover all my own travel. But I always look out for it and chose it every time when the price is right for me.

The staff members are very helpful and friendly. The location is easy for all different types of transportation to explore the city of Sydney. It is also easy to find restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The bed is very comfortable. The climate control system in the room really help me to relax and sleep very well.

I traveled the world for 1 year, this place has the best customer service I’ve seen. It’s not fake, they genuinely want you to have the best stay possible.

The room was perfect, the staff incredible - friendly and professional. The amenities were amazing. I was looking for a place to pamper myself on my last night in Australia and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. There was no lift/elevator. That wasn't a bad thing, really. I worked it out to leave my largest suitcase downstairs in their storage because I really didn't need anything in it and I didn't want to drag it up the stairs.

Everything Nothing

It’s quirky, vibrant, different from the average hotels you find. Very close to cafes and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to St Vincent hospital. Nothing.

Nothing. The description of this facility was extremely misleading. Our room was extremely small. The room description was “a deluxe queen “ and there was nothing deluxe about this room. The closet was too small to be usable. There was only room for a single suitcase to be opened but nowhere to unpack it. The description describes “a well fitted kitchenette and meals can be prepared there” but there is nothing like that. A very small countertop with a small microwave, coffee maker and a very small refrigerator. Over the years I have stayed at many places and chose this because of the description and high ratings. This was the worse I have ever experienced and they were unwilling to give even a partial refund. We moved to another hotel because this was so small. Buyer beware of this property.

Such a wonderful quirky hotel - if you like whimsy, good clean rooms and fantastic customer service this is your place!! The stairs were daunting but not a problem because the staff were always available to lend a hand

Property was gorgeous. Location was perfect in a great neighborhood. Felt super comfortable as a gay couple. Lots of food options and close enough to all the tourist things. Also, it smells so good throughout the property. You should stay here. Nothing to complain about.

Very cosy room, the hotel was just redecorated with lots of test and looks amazing. I loved the boutique hotel style. The smell when you enter the lobby gives a great atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and professional. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood full of bars and restaurants

The property was absolutely gorgeous! Caelyn at the front desk was beyond helpful, along with all of the team being generally very friendly and welcoming. Rooms re fully kitted out with everything you need from robes to a microwave.

Everything Selena was so very accommodating! And there is a shower available when I arrived ! Nothing Everyone was wonderful!

I rather liked the laid back look of the hotel when we visited last year. TBH, the change in decor is a fabulous improvement.

Great location and walk up appeal! Very eclectic….chic & bohemian at the same time. Thoughtful touches throughout. I felt so comfortable and at home. Really nice vibe! The staff was AMAZING….warm and welcoming, always happy to help. I felt lucky to stay there! I couldn’t stay longer!
