Love the location and ambiance

It was a 5 minute walk from the beach and several decent restaurants. The place is clean and friendly.

Close to the beach and lots of wonderful restaurants. I liked everything.

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of surfside with all the restaurants and the beach right outside the door of the hotel. Everything was clean. The beach entrance from the hotel was easy and a convenient shower and foot wash is there. The pool is nice. Parking is easy and convenient. The mattress was very mushy and not comfortable. Also, the very strong chemical cleaning smell that hits you over the head whenever you walk into the lobby. Wow. I was talking with a friend over the weekend and that was the first thing they mentioned about the hotel. They actually checked out and went somewhere else because of the smell.

The staff was extremely friendly and said decor in the hotel room was very homey and beachy. The free box of salt water taffy upon check-in was a very nice touch. I did find it a little odd that housekeeping was knocking at our door exactly at checkout time, but I realize that with the summer season, you’re probably very busy with a lot of turnaround.

We arrived a couple hours early and were allowed to check in right away! The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Bed and pillows were comfortable, and the hotel was always quiet. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance…you never have to drive anywhere! We would definitely stay and Surfside Hotel again.

An ideal place to stay that is not super busy. Very laid back, not too far from the busy Myrtle Beach. Very clean property! Staff was definitely very helpful and very nice! Really enjoyed our stay here!

Loveee this place! So close to the beach and has a couple of restaurants and ice cream shops within walking distance. Will definitely be coming here again!
