The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The fridge and microwave functioned as they should. Parking was fine. Air conditioning worked, but it was quiet and didn't drown out any of the traffic noise of N. Mathilda. There was a railing across the entire front of the rooms, which meant that noisy guests who came in late were bothersome because they had to walk by every room to reach their own instead of just walking from the parking lot directly to their room. It would be convenient to stay here again because of the staff, location and price, but I wouldn't stay here again because of the traffic noise.

We booked it for night it’s we mum and daughter that place is not safe and so dirty looks like the oldest place and never cleansed as we checked in and we checked out right away after seeing the way to the room and the room . Pls for your safety don’t book that place . We wasted the money but don’t care of safety was the main concern. We book aloft right away and stayed there

I called to cancel my reservation and the staff told me to call insurance, so I did. Insurance didn’t help and I am still missing $133. At the very least cancel reservation and allow insurance to cover the rest. I was being admitted to the hospital!

poor communication

This is the least expensive lodging on the San Francisco Peninsula. There is a reason for that. The advertised 24hr desk closed at midnight leaving no option to control the all night party that was crashing through the ceiling ALL night long. When I called the posted number on the door I was told "If you're not happy, Call the Cops!!" Real shady industrial area right on a very busy highway. Happy to escape unscathed.

I am so disappointed with my most recent stay at Travel Inn. I used to love this place and have stayed here numerous times as a stay-cation spot, being a local Silicon Valley native (born and raised.) My most recent stay, I booked for my husband and I, and my 2 children. And they complained about the kids making noise in the early morning and decided to keep our deposit — I actually have no idea why they kept the deposit. They were not forthright in letting us know the reason for it. But either way, they have not been responsive, have cameras everywhere and said they were always “watching us.” I really wish I was able to come back here since the service used to be stellar & the beds are super comfy. Oh well.

I used to love this place.. I had booked this place after a very stressful week because this property used to be my kids’ and my “home away from home.” We are Los Altos residents but love have stay-cations especially to places with amazingly comfy beds and silently bouncy for the kiddos. :) We booked this place, but never actually stayed here. I also booked Traveler’s Insurance, but we have yet to receive a refund from either places. Let’s see - they only have vending machines for snacks and the vibe is turning more to a Super 8 than a cute lil quaint & happy hotel. So I would recommend staying somewhere else the next time you are traveling. Dinah’s in Palo Alto has the most amazing breakfast, a gorgeous pool, is on El Camino Real and central to everything. I highly recommend staying there instead.

I’ve stayed here over 21x as a stay-cation for me and my littles (ages 4 &7) over the past year and I even remember the first time I stayed where the co-owner lady was warm & welcoming and so gracious about giving a late checkout. This time - they were stodgy, up tight, penny pinching and just almost made me feel I was better off never coming back again. Like my kids and I were disturbing them (I was even told they were going to review video footage because we were loud in the morning? when I was taking them to school at 7am.) Anyways, what prompted this review was that in the past — they never withheld the $100 deposit before. But this is the first time ever — I was not able to receive my $100 deposit back. And even after contacting the property 3x, I never received a call back nor an itemized bill of why my $100 deposit was not released. I am just so so sad I have to look for our next stay-cation spot. I know Dinah’s in Palo Alto has been an absolute jewel in the past - with phenomenal breakfast! And a gorgeous pool. So we will take our business elsewhere moving forward. (likely there - we are Los Altos residents) I know when a mom and her kids are not welcome. Thanks so much for the old memories Travel Inn.

Room was clean and staff were cordial. Main problem was that the bathroom needed a definite remodel. The tub used to be a jacuzzi type and they had tried to reglaze over it, but at this point the paint was peeling and it looked awful. Also, the towel bars were all spotted with rust. They just need to spend a few dollars to do a cosmetic upgrade. Also, there were ants that showed up if you dropped a crumb on the floor. Not a deal breaker, but did not add to the ambiance. The price was reasonable, so, I am not complaining, just giving them a helpful suggestion.
