About Croft House Guest Suite
Croft House is a charming and intimate Bed & Breakfast, nestled in the picturesque village of Painswick. Each room is equipped with a comfortable bed, TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and an ensuite/private bathroom. For those booking our ‘Garden Room’, you’ll additionally have exclusive access to our beautiful garden seating area, where you can sit with a glass of wine in the sun or unwind with a good book. Each morning we serve a delightful continental style breakfast, for you to immerse yourself in the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and indulge in a selection of pastries, cereals and seasonal fruits. Although Croft House is for the most part a residential property, we have created a small haven for guests seeking an enjoyable and comfortable retreat. Our guest rooms are located at either side of the property and have independent access for coming and going as you please, with a simple lockbox check-in system for when you arrive. Croft House is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds or to just soak up the natural beauty of Painswick!

It would be really helpful if more of the windows could open, but they were stuck behind some furniture. Otherwise a perfect place to stay.

Our Hosts were incredibly gracious and considerate. They gave valuable sight-seeing advice and tips, offered refreshments in the room, including coffee, tea, and snacks, and even happily and cleverly accommodated my girlfriend's vegan requests! They, and their property were absolutely amazing, and we can't wait to get back! There is not a single thing we thought could be improved. The property and our visit exceeded expectations in every way.

Loved every bit of this stay. Location was just a quick 5 minute walk to The Oak pub but in a very quiet neighborhood. The room opened up via French doors onto a beautiful garden. It’s sparkling clean. The proprietor is lovely, helpful, and non intrusive. The continental breakfast of yogurt, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, toast, and an exceptional fresh fruit and berry plate was ideal. It left us fueled for long walks but not weighed down. We especially enjoyed having a glass of wine in the garden in the evening. We can’t wait to go back! Nothing. It was perfect.

Beautiful accommodation in a garden setting. Spacious and comfortable in elegant surroundings. Enjoyed a continental breakfast in a cosy space. We stayed in the beautiful garden room which is accessible via the back garden - at night to get from the gate through the garden path to the room it was very dark, would benefit from some small lights along the pathway to show the way.
