St. Petersburg Marriott Clearwater

Hotel is well maintained, and location is Ok (mid point between St Pete and Clearwater).

A bit disappointed when pool was closed during summer of 95 degree

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the St. Pete Clearwater Marriott during the Fourth of July weekend. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation with friends and family turned into a frustrating experience. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning in our rooms wasn’t working properly, making it very uncomfortable during the Florida summer heat. We also booked two rooms together but were placed on different floors, which was inconvenient for our group. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, but it was green, unusable, and closed for the entire weekend. This was especially disappointing over a holiday weekend when we had planned to spend time by the pool. The breakfast each morning was also served cold and did not meet the quality I expect from a Marriott property. I work hard for my money and was looking forward to this vacation, but instead I left feeling like I didn’t receive the experience I paid for. I expected much better from Marriott, and the lack of communication and resolution during our stay only added to the disappointment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. I hope Marriott takes steps to improve the condition of this property and its customer service so future guests don’t have the same experience

Rooms were clean. BUT, the four star ranking is deceptive. Upon entering ,there is a bucket being used for a leak in the roof, particles on the sides. No access to pool- visibly green and not maintained. Overall, I would not book this stay in the near future.

Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We returned to the front desk to report these issues. What was equally disappointing was the lack of concern, empathy, or apology from the front desk agent. There was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation, and we were simply assigned a different room. After moving to the second room, we discovered that the air conditioning was not functioning properly. We again contacted the front desk and were informed that someone from Engineering would be sent to address the issue. Unfortunately, no one ever arrived, and the problem remained unresolved for the duration of our stay. The combination of cleanliness concerns, inadequate room conditions, poor follow-up, and the lack of customer service from the front desk staff made for a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

The ptoperty itself was pretty decent. They are doing renovations. The staff was nice, but the breakfast was not good and not worth the amount charged.

Bad location no facilities didn’t like nothing

When I arrived, the staff was very helpful, professional kind, and smiling. They even got me help with bringing my items up to my room. Breakfast was great. Staff and maids were excellent. Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean. Property was clean. This is my second stay here it was great. Only thing I think that toilets need to be a little bit higher for tall people thank you very much Marriott.

La primera noche tuvimos que movernos de habitacion a la 1.00 am por que no funcionaba el Aire Acondicionado, demaciado calor, afectando nuestro descanso. La siguiente noche tampoco funcionaba en la segunda habitación y tubimos que esperar a q solucionaran el problema. La puerta del closet descolgada, no funcionaba y lamparas que no prendieron. La piscina estaba sucia. La persona q nos hiso el check out, muy poco agradable y desatenta. Definitivamente no lo recomiendo.
