location was perfect 2 min walk to the 18th hole of the old course 5 min walk t center of town which is filled with pubs and restaurants and st andrew castle and the university. The bistro inside the hotel great food, the breakfast options are great and it was nice to have dinner there twice. the pub was extremley comfortable and inviting and great selection of scotch whisky. the staff at the front desk very friendly and helpful. Everything was great and will stay there when i come back

Loved the breakfast. One of the best we had in Scotland. The room was small but fine the location was the best. we could get where we needed to be by walking. We would stay again and again. no stairs. Next time I will ask for a room on a different level

The area is pretty close to the beach and how its a quirky place. Plus the old golf course is just across the hotel. Its just so hard to go up the stairs with a big luggage plus you can hear the steps of every people outside of the room and even upstairs.

The hotel is a charming property located in an ideal area of St. Andrews and within walking distance to everything - shops, restaurants, the university. The suite we had was enormous and featured a comfortable bed as well as a spacious bathroom. The views of the North Sea were a lovely bonus.

Poor room with no view and unable to open blinds and unable to stand up in 40 percent of the room. Also power point access poor for kettle, hair dryer etc. Room was terrible for the money.

Room was large and really nice in general. The bed was amazing absolutely huge and very comfy. Shower is great also genuinely one of the best showers I've had in my life.
