Motel 6 Spartanburg, Sc – Northwest / Business 85

i rented a room for one night. paid upfront and paid for early check in (subject to availability) okay understandable. i get there early. see maybe 10 cars and get told not a single room is available. whatever i’ll eat that 7$ gamble i took not a huge deal. finally i get a room key. i swipe it and open my door and there’s two children laying on what’s supposed to be my bed watching their iPads. “are you sure this is your room?” the child asked me if i’m sure the room i opened with the key i was given is mine. yes. anyways went to the desk get another key after i explain it. go to that room, bed unmade nothing cleaned up. go back to the desk a THIRD time. FINALLY i get a new room no children unattended in it no unmade bed. not the best room but decent for the price and the one night stay. minimum parking is an understatement. maybe 5 spots on the side of the building i stayed on. again not a huge deal but annoying after all id already gone through. then 8:30 am on the morning of my 11:00 am checkout housekeeping is knocking on my door asking if i’m staying or leaving. does it matter? check out is 11:00 am. you don’t need to knock at 8:30 in the morning to see if i’m leaving right this second. come back at checkout times thankfully it wasn’t expensive so if you’re okay with all the crap i just listed, decent hotel close to town. but if you want a good one steer clear!

Was without power from 8 pm until 3 am due to a storm and nothing was mentioned or even apologized for the inconvenience. I know it wasn’t their fault but some kind of compensation for the inconvenience would be nice as the was no AC or way to charge my phone etc

Stay away from this hotel. Not safe. When checking in we were told 30% of the time when scanning the card to get into the room someone may already be in the room because the manager of the hotel makes reservations and doesn't update the system or let the front desk employee know that the room had already been reserved. The desk clerk wouldn't call the room to see if anyone was in the room or go check the room to see if anyone was in the room. The desk clerk said if someone is in the room bring the key back and she will refund us. I said i don't feel safe knowing thst someone can walk in on me and i can walk in on them and would like to cancel reservation. I recieved my refund but lost my creidt from Hotels.com.

Air conditioner started making noise about 1 until we left noise all night long car horns you didn’t feel safe so we only stayed 1 night

Room was clean, area was quiet, staff were very helpful and professional. My key card was not working when I first got the room, but the maintenance man came later in the evening and fixed the problem for me.

The room was clean and updated,the bathroom door needed hinge pins put back in place, and maintenance- paint

The manager said i had damaged my room I told the house keeper and the night front desk lady about the room they said they already knew about it well I left for.a.week came back again I couldn't rent there again because of the damage done I'm sorry but it's bull crap

When we checked I had paid for two room .Room one was fine very clean.Room 2 the face on the a/c unit was hanging off the vents was broken and on the wall between the fridge and the bed was a place looked like it had been patched but painted with wrong color paint I tell the house keeper about the a/c units cover she says oh yes we know thank you so a few days later we check out 2days later go back they won't rent to me anymore because I broke cover off the AC and patched the wall what are you kidding how do you even go about patching a wall and why would I brake the ac these people need to get their crap together it bull crap

Nothing Too noisy all day . Not clean . Garbage was always overflow.

No frills motel convenient to 85 freeway. The beds were super comfortable. The room was clean and had what we needed for a quick night’s rest.

The shower didn’t work and the fan in bathroom had fell out and ac didn’t cool !
