Hotel Cenacolo

Restaurant didn't have many things on menu...different to get taxis especially at night, but the hotel helped call taxis...it's out in the country, no nightlife

The hotel is situated next to a noisy playground (that is: next to my room), where music spills into the room. However this is not very loud (well soundproofed), but still it feels like a cheap place to stay. Which is not. The rooms are large, well equipped, clean, new and well maintained. The restaurant serves excellent food with excellent wines, but it was not particularly cheap, nor expensive. Breakfast was OK-ish, with sufficient choice of bread, fruit, and sweets (cake). Staff is very helpful, but somewhat forgetful (no coffee at breakfast). I had to explicitly request to have my passport back. No big deal but passports are too valuable to not pay attention to it. Noise from bar next-door was loud and uninviting, where locals seems to hang out. Despite the pleasant stay in a high-quality hotel the location feels like a lower-class neighborhood.

The hotel is pretty new and clean all around. Fron desk staff and waitress at the bar were really nice and helpful. There was a free onsite parking, which is such a big advantage in the region. Music was loud until very late on Friday night. Which didn't bother us as such as we were going out ourselves. We checked in late, and air conditioning didn't work so had to keep windo open..

Room was tidy and very well equipped Restaurant was closed at 8.30pm and bfast was very limited. Location is not good unless driving, nearest train station 30/40mins walk away.
