The room was nice and cleaned. It would have been good if there were at least two people working because we had to wait to check in when we got there around 11pm.
-
Then funeral service next door to hotel was at 10 & burial at 11. I explained and offered me a late check out.

No staff fixed beds.. Air conditioning was broken. Room was FREEZING COLD and thermostat was broken so I had to call EVERYDAY to have front desk to regulate. TWICE the turnd on the HEATER...HORIBLE EXPERIENCE. I may reach out to corporate for a refund!

The room was exceptionally clean, and I am very picky. Every staff member that we encountered was very friendly, kind, and helpful. The breakfast was great!

The first room on the 4th floor that we were in, the AC kept going up to 78 needles to say it was hot. Comes to find out that the temperature is set on computer from the front desk, The young lady told us that she st it to 75 which that didn't even work. then they told us that here is a motion detectore in the rooms and if there is no movements it will reset the thermostat to 78 again so all night we had to get up and reset the the thermostat to 75 to be able to sleep. the sliding bathroom door wouldn't stay closed and when my wife and I together did managed to keep it closed wasn't really much of privacey or keeping the steam in the bathroom. The TV was messed up and couldn't see anything. The front desk lady kept telling us that help is on the way but they never showed up. After a couple of more days they moved us to another room. The sliding door and the TV worked better but the AC thermostate worked the same. I don't think we will stay yhere again at least not in the hot season.

This hotel is in a very convenient location. When we arrived to our assigned room, it was incredibly hot. We attempted to adjust the thermostat and was not successful. A call to the front desk revealed that air-conditioning of each room is controlled in a central location. Eventually, our room temperature for the first night was satisfactory. However, during the night, the air conditioning unit cycled with a loud humming noise, which was very disruptive to our sleep. The second day of our stay, the air conditioning was again at a high temperature. During the second night, I recorded the sound that was produced by the air-conditioning unit cycling and played it for the from desk team member. She apologized and issued a credit to our account.

I had to move room’s twice because of the AC not working in one and then the tv not working in the other. The front desk was very polite and helpful in resolving that matter the best they could.

It was clean! Nothing to report that I didn’t like. All was great.

This sensor turns off the a/c when it does not sense any movement in the room. We had to keep getting up at night to turn on the a/c. Imagine settling in for a cool night’s sleep at 70F, only to wake up sweating in a 76F degree room because the a/c turned off. When checking out we let the desk manager know there must be a problem with the a/c. She told us she could have turned off the motion sensor. Who knew the a/c was controlled by a motion sensor? Not normal in hotels we’ve stayed in. Her response was that she could offer a partial refund, but since we booked through Orbitz, she could not do that. Shame on Hampton Inn and Hilton. It could have been so easy to post in the room that the a/c is controlled by the wall mounted motion sensor. We would have known what to expect and see if there was a way to have the Hampton Inn bypass that sensor.

Nice, updated hotel. Breakfast is the usual sausage and scrambled eggs menu that hotels have, which is just okay.

We were looking for a place to stay that was near to a medical facility. I have had good experiences with Hampton Inns before, so I booked there. It was close by, the staff was friendly and the room was both large and extremely clean. There was nothing I did not like. I could not get a baggage cart to get our things up to the room. Someone had taken it and did not return it . That is not the fault of the hotel.
