I was overcharged for my stay at Jin Jiang Tower by almost 1000RMB. I kept emailing, messaging and contacting them but they did not reply or get back to me. Not acceptable.

This is a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located 5 star hotel close to the commercial strip of Huaihai Road. The staff were welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was tasty. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip

Room was fine, ac wasn't up to par and it was quite warm in the room which was the main issue. Hotel is large and standard for region. Has a good currency exchange machine in the lobby which is very helpful. Location is good, short walk from IAMP mall and many cafes, shops and restauants + Metro. AC did not cool enough (central air wasn't on for that time of year). Does make a difference as room gets quite warm, but it is a preference.

Rooms are spacious Location right next to an underground station (Line 13) Elevators are plenty and fast An automatic money exchange machine that exchanged US$ at a reasonable rate. An automatic cleaning bidet at the toilet. Shower water pressure was average. Bed covers were too heavy.

It’s a rather old facility, bathroom has many molds…..

The location is great The check in is 2pm, however I was forced to wait for another hour as they are short of staffs and unable to clean the room; the hotel only promised to deliver a free fruit bowl for compensation and the delivery is around 10pm in the night. I also asked to borrow scissors for my new clothes tags, this was delayed for 7 hours and after I requested 3 times.

Hair dryer was damaged. To flash toilet is almost impossible. Weights didn't work. Not all lights worked.

The room was spacious with a shower and a bathtub! As a foreigner it was hard to navigate the TV

Good location in the downtown of shanghai. Close to public transportation such as subway. People in the front disk are not friendly and are not patient for answering questions. For example, in the first day of check in the hotel, they asked us pay for a deposit that is 30% more expensive than the price that we got from booking.com. once we checked out , the extra 30% of deposit fee is not released from our card. After one day, we went to front desk to enquire about this thing, but the hotel staff say they don't know when the deposit will return to our card and we shall ask our bank instead. The second thing is that we wanted to book a table in the hotel restaurant, in the phone conversation, they just gave a price but no information of the dishes and point us to phone app for finding food menus by ourselves. We could not find the menu then we have to go to the hotel restaurant in person for having the information of menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff also rude and inpatient for talking with us , even we told them that we would like to book a table if the food looks good. Please note we speak fluent Chinese, no language barriers between us.

Amazing hotel with great room space in a perfect location. Near by s lot restaurants and 3/5 minuts walk from metro and buses. My room cleanliness was impeccable and the entire staff was lovely. During my stay, it was my birthday and I was surprised with a cake left in my room. I never imagined this level of attention and care. Definitely, wherever I go, I will consider staying at a Jin Jiang hotel. Nothing! It’s perfect!
