The location was amazing. Perfect view to the valley, old style comfortable rooms. Extraordinary wellness. Polite and kind staff. The breakfast was a wide selection buffet. The dinner was 6-course chef designed menu. Delicious and kind of art all the foods. The hotel was peacful, no disturbing noise or music. We have got information about the programs in a information package, but nothing was forced program. You could feel like home. As said old style rooms, no AC, but we could lived with that.

Matratze needed be exchanged.

Location, big terrace, view to the valley and the mountains, comfort of room, balcony. Very good dinner (half-board), can only recommend. Underground parking very handy. Service efficient and friendly. Biggest room for improvement has the breakfast: Selection and presentation is good and as expected for the price but quality and taste are lacking, partly significantly (e.g. the smoked salmon and horseradish cream are a total failure).

The place was excellent for a relaxing start of the h’days. Kids could swim all day and parents could enjoy relaxing in the garden enjoying the great views!!! Trails and lift into the mountains is only a 5 min walk from the hotel.

Der Verdinser Hof is located in a quaint mountain village amongst a few restaurants, a little market, and the starting point of numerous hiking trails. The hotel has an alpine, cozy feel with an indoor and outdoor pool, gorgeous views, free on-site parking, a fitness center, and a kids play room. It also has a wonderfully rustic and natural spa area overlooking the mountains and valley. The staff was also nice and attentive. The rooms were a good size and were clean. Would definitely recommend!

We liked the view and the food was really good. The service is not so great, when we arrived no one could speak english at the reception ( we speak fluent french,English and Dutch). We still could understand and make our way to our room. There is a lot of things that could be a lot better for exemple we booked the nice 6 course meal at the restaurant it was a lovely evening 25 degree view on the mountain but they dont give us the choice but to sit inside close to the salad bar where everyone pass instead of the 30+ tables available outside with a nice view. One night we wanted to order some wine at the bar at 17:30 before having dinner the 3 employee are sitting in the restaurant eating together open air and not caring about us waiting at the bar.... we never saw that before. If your not 60+ and german speaking dont go there or get ready to people almost look frustrated at you for not speaking german... we wont come back and even if the view is fantastic its not worth the deception of the services.

Both pool areas and the garden are lovely. The hotel is easy to reach and has underground parking. Buffet breakfast was ample but regular coffee tasted terrible. Unfortunately staff was mostly busy cleaning tables instead of asking for individual menu choices at breakfast. We signed up for half board but ended up eating in some of the great restaurants nearby to actually eat some of the excellent local food. Menu at the hotel became boring. We did not receive credit for the missed meals but that did not matter to us, we preferred the change. Overall staff was extremely capable and nice. As already mentioned, nobody asked for individual choices at breakfast, i.e. pancakes, French toast, sunny side up eggs, the staff was far too busy serving and cleaning up. No drink service at the pools. Reception was efficient but not very welcoming. The hotel facilities are overall great but there seems to be a lack of motivation to do great for their guests, i.e. information what to see, a calendar of events. The handouts at breakfast were a waste of paper. The maid working our room every day did an outstanding job. The spa treatments are fantastic and worth every Euro.
