The Clarence Gardens Hotel, BW Signature Collection

Room was very small and tight to move around in and I am am a petite person. Definitely did not need a chair in the room, just added to the lack of space. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Just a slighty bigger room. Bathroom size was fine.

The room was fine. Bed comfortable. Nice mugs. Snug I guess would be how I'd describe it. There were no glasses provided either in the room or the bathroom. The room was very hot as it was an attic room, and the fan provided was poor. Hence we didnt sleep very well.

It was a lovely clean hotel. Had all the feel.of a Scarborough guest house but with the backing of a big hotel chain

Parking was a nightmare and very warm in the room, could not open windows due to loads of midges on the outside windows, bathroom very small

Nice room, very clean and modern The heating came on at around 4 in the morning and made a terrible noise. Bathroom fan runs on too long and it's loud.

The staff were lovely. Hotel was clean. Had everything I needed.

Beds and comfort were excellent - all very very clean. View could have been better but we were happy. Would have liked a small fridge for milk,water,soft drinks and the plumbing needed to be checked in the shower recess - early doors due to renovations.OVERALL we LOVED our stay with you!! Needed a small fridge for water,milk,soft drinkss etc. Plumbing in shower needed attention.

Pretty much everything! Cosy bedroom was great but just needs another half a foot at the end of the bed - understand this can’t be changed. Tap in bathroom a little stiff to use and had a drip.

My young daughter and I had a fantastic stay here. A highlight was George who was very kind and welcoming - like nothing was too much trouble for him and he gave the place an easy going, relaxed and cozy atmosphere. He was very good with my 6 year old and let us pet his adorable dog Bruce! He made a special effort to make a particular pizza for my picky eating daughter, took care of our bikes, gave restaurant recommendations and the list goes on.... The view from the room window was nice, very relaxing we could hear the ocean. The bar had a good mix of drinks and the breakfast was amazing.

A lovely hotel we had a cozy sea view room. It was a lovely little room with everything in you needed. We didn't need a bigger room as we were only sleeping in it. The hotel is lovely and situated in North Bay it has a little car park just round the corner. We booked breakfast and it was absolutely delicious with fruit, cereal and yogurt, full English breakfast, toast, croissant and muffins available definitely a good choice

The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean and the staff are absolutely lovely. It is in a great location and the breakfast was delicious. I thoroughly recommend it. We had a sea view room.

Great location with on site parking. Great decor clean and fresh. Front of house staff very welcoming and accommodating. Small sink in the bathroom when a full size would have fitted. No shelving by sink for toiletries.

We booked the Cozy Double Room with Sea View and the room was great and exactly like the picture posted. It was a really nice room and close to the sea while also close enough to the main attractions for the amusements. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The room was really nice with a great view over Scarborough Bay. All nicely decorated throughout the hotel. The bar area was good with a choice of games to play-draughts, chess, dominoes etc. Staff friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience. Car parking area good Few little niggles. The blinds in our room were broken which meant that we had too much light at night because we had a street light directly outside. I think if it were a guest that broke them you should be ashamed for not reporting it. Only one chair in the room where the room I thought I had booked had two. Shower was difficult to get into. Breakfast was overcooked. Despite the niggles we would definitely stay here again

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and tidy with recently refurbished furniture and carpets. We took advantage of the pizza and beer on offer before the concert and the pizza was really good. Parking was straightforward with plenty places out front. Great location and lovely sea views. Breakfast was of a good standard. Only draw back was the lack of toiletries with the only soap being a bottle in the shower there was no hand soap. Shower was nice but a big for the cubical.
